I bought a loaf of Wonder bread for the first time in many years. I made a tuna salad last night and used it to make a sandwich on Wonder bread mid afternoon. The tuna was fabulous but I couldn’t taste the bread. I also ate the crusts from my granddaughters peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Breakfast: utilized some tortillas that were going stale with some anchovies, feta, gorgonzola cheese, turkey slices, cooked tomato slices, and olives to make quick pizza!

For dinner: Pork roast, Crispy country-style potatoes, and Lablabi (Garbanzo beans) & avocado salad

Last night’s steak and today’s spaghetti aglio e olio, both with delicata squash. The pasta’s garlic and onion were sautéed in the steak avocado oil and butter pan drippings.

Breakfast was cantaloupe left over from last nights dinner. The first truly great melon of the year: sweet, juicy and aromatic.
