loads of repetition when these are some of our favorite things. Despite loads of variety in our lives, we have certain favorites like the roll-ppang. I feel like making roll-ppang on Wednesday. But maybe more corn-cherry scones tomorrow.

I reheated the steak AND fries at 350 in the “Sonia Morgan” and omg they worked. Super super. Also we DONT want our steaks to turn out well - medium rare is the pref. I’m here all week.

I don't know for sure but I think the "eat the same things" comment was about how all 3 of you seem to each eat different things rather than a family dinner that everyone sits down and eats the same foods. |

My comment about eating the same thing was that it seems no one in your family eats the same meal for dinner or breakfast or lunch. It seems each person has their own meal.
I also don’t want hummus & pita. Not my thing. I made my spouse a dill sauce for the salmon and raw radishes; I don’t want radish or dill sauce. I like my poached salmon just off the stove albeit maybe with some lemon. And nobody but me is obsessed with corn cherry scones - I’ve loved them since I first discovered them in the late 90s!

ROFL!! Good one. Did you know that she was on a show on the food network recently? It was a celebrity edition of Worst Cooks in America which I don't watch but saw the ads. :D
... also I still cannot believe that NY times had an article about bethenny Frankel seeking medical masks. I love her and that’s my dream fantasy article but I never thought she’d actually be in NYT outside the style section. |

Bethany is quite an accomplished businesswoman as well as running a great charity. She has been feeding lots of people in Puerto Rico since the hurricane as well as others . |

Yes...still on RHONY.

I actually first saw her on Martha’s Apprentice. She was runner-up to Dawn Stone. and the nyt article mentioned about her work with puerto Rico. I still love her scenes on RHONY but I really loved her show. I just felt bad for Max when she fired him. |

Somethings are best eaten hot. Pizza, most soups, steak, and fried chicken. Somethings are best eaten cold. Ice cream, watermelon, cereal with milk, and yoghurt. Obviously you can gnaw to your hearts content on a frozen steak, but it’s not the ideal method of serving.

I could see cold, sliced steak on salads. I didn't eat it today, but over the weekend. Last week we discovered that Eventide (oyster bar that is generally mobbed with tourists April-December) has a fried chicken roll. Their brown butter lobster roll is already outrageously good (and outrageously priced considering how small it is). But the fried chicken roll might be the best thing I have ever eaten. The chicken is crisp and not greasy. It comes with a dab of Japanese mayo and some sweet pickled pepper things. It's amazing. Anyway, I had two of them on Sunday and some fries. Their fries are also top notch, it turns out. |

How could you NOT see cold steak on a salad? Delish! And I agree about cooking three meals for people. I have zero tolerance for picky eaters.

I haven't eaten anything yet today, so now I'm hungry. |

Some places use warm/hot steak. I could go with either.

I haven't eaten anything yet today, so now I'm hungry. brekky: toasted english muffin with peanut butter and butter (two halves) and leftover corn-cherry scone and coffee with oat milk and iced water hummus & pita and apricots and sparkling water mango (finally opened it after getting it prepped yesterday) I hope that other guy got his infamous hazelnut coffee creamer! He didn’t sound happy about not having it. Likewise I’m near low on coffee beans so should get a new pack today. Coffee & any needed accompaniments are the closest thing to tobacco addiction. |

how does one not eat before posting to FT?? Eek. Go eat. Eat and type away. Tell us what you’re eating - I feel your last meal post was the turkey “thanksgiving” style with a potential meatloaf & mash meal.
Also, please don't tell me what to do as far as what to post. |

I don't eat unless I'm hungry. I don't eat just to eat, at least not when I'm at home. I'm not going to eat something for breakfast to simply eat if I'm not hungry.
Another :tu: for steak salad (with lots of vegetables and a sharp cheddar with ranch dressing). If the steak is rare or medium rare, I might nuke it just long enough to warm it up a bit, but otherwise it's tough warmed up and better eaten cold. When I see steak salad on menus, I'm always drawn to it. |
