Off to google Kedgerre. Thanks!

shared thick chips & guacamole
cheese quesadilla and a bowl of Cocoa Puffs with milk
leek/gruyere quiche (bacon-less quiche Lorraine)
leftover carnitas with rice & beans, corn quesadillas, avocado salsa, and pickled jalapeños

One of these things is not like the other.

I doubt whether Cocoa Puffs have ever been mentioned in a discussion concerning "luncheon." :D

BTW, I don't think Quiche Lorraine can be baconless (or at least lardonless).

My luncheon was a taco salad from Wendy's.

I guess I could have called it a vegetarian version of quiche Lorraine. It’s correct that it (by name) would have bacon or pork belly as a component.

taco taco!

i live in San Francisco. We are very liberal with definitions.

As a city full of gastronomes, I'm not so sure "you" are with regard to food. Anyway, how about "quiche?" :)

I used to mix it up between Michelins and taco trucks until Covid but now I’m just cooking within this range. Everything I make is quite artisanal hand-crafted small batch!

Were you cuckoo for the Cocoa Puffs?

I had leftover chopped salad with soggy wonton strips and leftover pineapple chunks for lunch. All eaten to the sound of a stump grinder across the street.

So jealous...we have decent Chicago style pizza out here, but it ain't Lou's.

Did you know Lou's is in AZ now? (Only state outside of Illinos/Wisconsin.)

Come on down when you can. :) I feel right at home with Culver's, Portillo's and Lou's. :)

BTW, anyone know why the pictures here get flipped 90 degrees? It's weird.

You probably took the photo with an iPhone? I think either iPhones do something nonstandard or FT's image display ignores the built in JPEG orientation information.

You can order it online and they'll ship it to you packed in dry ice. Just pop it in the oven.

yep - I use iPhone for all photos and FlyerTalk.
I was planning to order my lou malnattis from goldbelly when I get that red retro freezer but I’ll compare pricing with this site. Thanks!

...

the Cocoa Puffs are for my child - I rarely have cereal but enjoy fruit loops at times.

i love Lou’s so much. I’m not sure if I can make a deep dish pizza - I know how to make regular thin pizza with store-bought dough. I’m planning to try making my own pizza dough after I get 00 flour because my cornershop sometimes has had it. I’ve just not seen it since April. Pic of regular pizza below. I’ve recently added red onion and olive per my spouse’s request.

supermarket sushi today.

Yes, but it doesn't always happen - so strange. When I have flipped it 90 degrees myself in an effort to get it to look right - it makes no difference.

my picture flipping is definitely IRROPS - not 50/50 but it’s total YMMV

I’ll be eating the pizzas. I love Lou’s so much.
it’s silly because I never buy pepperoni to make myself pepperoni pizza.

Will they even fit? Isn't the red freezer shallow?
