Any good?

Warmed up 20 seconds in the microwave with vanilla ice cream! So good! I'll send you the link to the recipe if you wish (or, if you have access, NYT recipes).

I cooked waitrose Aberdeen Angus burgers for dinner tonight and they were delicious - better than some takeout ones we had last week. ....

The best store burgers I've had in the UK are from Bookers. They sell Wagyu Burgers - 6 for a tenner. The patties are 6oz each and, IMHO, best cooked pink in the middle.

Just checked online... this is the product "Blackgate Signature 6 Ultimate Wagyu Burgers"

Roast pork with crackling, roast potatoes, parsnips and carrots, spinach, apple sauce and gravy, followed by Helford Blue and Yarg. Local Cornish food at its best.

Yum!

I'm snacking on some Pt. Reyes Toma cheese and wheat crackers.

Dinner's going to be flank steak, baked potato, and a kale salad.

We're also working our way around the Rhone valley on the beverage front :D

Carrot & red lentil soup with ginger & chili
Roasted lamb racks, tzatziki, oven-baked beets & fennel, tomato salad
Tiramisu to finish

I made the Japanese style fluffy pancakes with the water roux method to replace 1/4 cup of sugar. Very excellent and I’m so thrilled with this :-)

I picked up some lobster ravioli at Costco so I'll probably have that for dinner tonight.

we had this a few weeks ago and it feels too much like cheese ravioli. We ended up freezing half since it was in its own plastic pack. I had higher hopes.

Beef stew and polenta.

I don't think I've used the old Crock Pot since getting an Instant Pot, but this morning, I dragged it out and made a simple beef stew. I forgot to layer a half cup of pearl barley near the bottom, so I thought I'd bring out the emergency kit package of potato flakes instead, but when I opened the cupboard, I saw I had a scoop of polenta left. It made two-servings worth in my mini rice cooker. The polenta turned out soupy, so I left the lid off to allow some of the water to evaporate.

I had a taste from the sample lady a few months ago. I thought they were terrible.
