A toasted whole wheat English muffin and Swiss "sandwich", 2 hard boiled eggs, and half a banana for breakfast today.

I made chicken cacciatore for lunch today.

Chicken “thai” curry with carrots & some potato - good level of heat :-)

I just had a sausage roll from the small bakery up the road. So tasty. The pastry was so salty and flaky, and the meat mix was perfect with a bit of fennel.

Before dinner I had 1/3 of a chocolate donut that had bacon on top. Two bites of the Nutella one.

You really should write this William Carlos Williams style, viz...

How was it?

It was surprisingly very good....in an interesting sort of way. I like savory and sweet so I was ok with that. It is just weird that your mouth first tastes the pizza sauce and cheese and then gets to the glazed donut part. Lol. I wouldn't go out of my way for one---it was a gift---but it was kind of fun. And I am pretty much obsessed with pizza so it was hard to go wrong.

At least you didn't have it on the chocolate donut.
