in different times in 1994 and 2001 I had pancakes (with syrup) and a salad for my luncheon. Probably also with a side of fries. And a coffee. In 1994 at Baghdad cafe and in 2001 at the Flower market cafe (jury duty). These items aren’t consumed in the same bite.

i’m not sure if I mentioned my coffee with the curry chicken for today’s luncheon.

No, not at all.

I concur. It is very weird.

definitely:
French toast
balled cantaloupe
organic strawberries
coffee & scones (for me)
challah & peanut butter (for me)

Post shopping with too many choices for brunch

deli roast beef & potato salad
heirlooms
different mozza cheeses
sourdough baguette
organic strawberries, blueberries, and mango
salami
pickles

plus:
crisps

omg the roast beef Sammie is great and has yellow mustard.

the salami Sammie has the sweet hot mustard from Ingesol (Beaverton brands) and omg omg the mustard is tear-dabbing hot spicy just like the label says. Omg. Mercy. Omg.

the potato salad is very yummy.

There was a discussion of a failed attempt at an egg sandwich in the vent thread. I made one today, added a little ham and a salad.

We visited a friend for scooting & luncheon. I ordered by phone and drove to fetch taqueria yummies

carnitas burrito
rice/bean/cheese burritos
chips
pico de gallo
guacamole
Jarritos Mexican sodas (pineapple / strawberry)

super yummy. I ate at 1:15p and see zero supper except for dessert.

Plotted dessert - japanese Kit Kat treats

Here is my wife’s version of the egg sandwich. With ham and grilled onions.

World famous. If there is a reason to go to St. Louis, Ted Drewes would be it.

I usually carry a Cup Noodle or a Mama brand instant noodle in my carry-on if I think I may be in a situation where there might not be food. It's not ideal but much better than getting a stomach ulcer. I also usually have a small ziplock of nuts and a packet or two of Ritter Sport or other travel friendly chocolate.

btw HOW would you use a cup o noodle? Where does one get boiling hot water for it? I’ve never seen it.
I carry snacks but fear the instant noodles.

IIRC, many are designed so you can add water and then microwave them. You can also buy hot water from a restaurant and make it work.

Many hotels have a microwave, or at least a kettle for hot water, that you pour in the cup-o-noodles.

It's a very St. Louis brand; if anyone wants to place a (bulk) order, check this link:
