Am I the only one who thinks French toast and cucumbers is an odd combo?

I would venture to say that our friend from San Francisco is the only one who thinks it isn't.

There was a discussion of a failed attempt at an egg sandwich in the vent thread. I made one today, added a little ham and a salad. |
We visited a friend for scooting & luncheon. I ordered by phone and drove to fetch taqueria yummies
carnitas burrito rice/bean/cheese burritos chips pico de gallo guacamole Jarritos Mexican sodas (pineapple / strawberry) super yummy. I ate at 1:15p and see zero supper except for dessert. Plotted dessert - japanese Kit Kat treats https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1cf06fba2.jpeg |
Here is my wife’s version of the egg sandwich. With ham and grilled onions.

I usually carry a Cup Noodle or a Mama brand instant noodle in my carry-on if I think I may be in a situation where there might not be food. It's not ideal but much better than getting a stomach ulcer. I also usually have a small ziplock of nuts and a packet or two of Ritter Sport or other travel friendly chocolate.
I carry snacks but fear the instant noodles. |

I carry snacks but fear the instant noodles. Many hotels have a microwave, or at least a kettle for hot water, that you pour in the cup-o-noodles. |
