I just found a great business class fare (need to go for work) from ATL <> SIN on China Southern.

$5742 (via LAX and Guangzhou). LAX > CAN is an Airbus A380.

30k MQM's.

This is a good business class fare, but at 19 cpmqm, not necessarily MR material if you're only looking for the MQMs.

IND-DTW-SFO-ATL-IND-ATL-SFO-ATL-IND, Dec 11-12, $474.38 all-in, 10,496 MQM's.

Could also break them apart into two separate IND-SFO trips on Sat 8th and Sat 15th and avoid having to use any vac. days. $251.20 each = $502.40 total.

Wow how did you even price that out. I'd fly it!

This is an amazing trip...but sounds extremely painful hahaha. My suggestion is $995=buy 10,000 MQMs...stay home, do fun things instead of sitting in a tube LOL.

It'd be around $700 with positioning but I suggest a trip to IST. I just spent three days there and it was amazing. Deniz Houses is a surprisingly clean and cheap (25 EUR) hotel within 5 minutes walk of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, etc.

I would definitely do Istanbul. If they didn't require a visa, Moscow would be another good, cheap destination.

Yep - exactly what I would do - though I do agree IST sounds incredibly tempting.

Don't know about Deniz Houses, but IST sounds like a great idea, or Moscow is the same (visa might be an issue though).

Or there was another thread about ~%500 flight for 10K MQM's. (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/delta...wife-gold.html)

Use multi-city to book back-to-back trips. By booking them all on one ticket, it reduces the taxes/fees since most of them max out at 2 segments in each direction. If you book as 2 separate trips, the total price goes up from $474.38 to $502.40.

Great tip! Will have to keep this in mind the next time I book a mileage run.
