There might also be an entitlement to EC261 downgrade compensation, which could be more or less than the fare difference. Check the numbers and the rules before requesting EC261 benefits, a refund, or ORC. Your TATL flight was ticketed by AF and was originally an AF operated flight marketed by AF, right? (EC261 only applies to DL flights that originate in Europe because DL isn't an EU carrier.)

If they simply rebooked you on say AF/DL flights but kept you in PE, but changed marketing then can ask for ORC. Call DL and have an agent assist you. Once they enter the info it'll show correctly couple days later, once system processes what they enter.

There shouldn't be an earning difference between AF/KL marketing unless you were downgraded. (At least AFAIK)
I just flew my inbound flight. I still flew the Premium Economy cabin, but was put on KL codes, and not AF codes. It was class W, so with KL codes I was only earning 20% of MQDs, vs AF codes 30% of MQDs.

Do I just send an email to Delta with the original routing? Do I need to send them the original ticket? Does this need to be original routing, or can this be one of the versions before the final change to KL?

My original routing was WAW-AMS-BOS-CLT on AF codes, but due to cancellations later became WAW-AMS-ATL-CLT on AF codes, and then ended up being WAW-AMS-JFK-CLT on KL codes.

I would like the one of AF codes via Atlanta, due to better earnings, but will be final with the original original as well.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Ignore the marketing. We need to know if you flew PE or Comfort Plus. Comfort Plus is not PE and earns different. It sounds like you may have flown Comfort Plus and not PE.

This would explain the difference, if is what happened.

This is interesting. Last Saturday I was ticketed RDU-LGA-PIT on Delta. RDU-LGA took a delay and while I was waiting for it to board LGA-PIT took a 3.5 hour delay. I went to the RDU SC and got rebooked on AA RDU-PIT. I flew the AA flight and credited the miles to AA.

The Delta miles for both RDU-LGA and LGA-PIT posted to my account automatically like I'd flown those flights too.

Receiving mileage credit for a cancelled flight that was rebooked on another airline

My travel companion had some difficulty flying Delta from SEA to JFK in June. Her flight was cancelled, and she was subsequently rebooked on Alaska Airlines for the SEA to JFK portion of her trip. She received mileage credit for the JFK to SEA leg (which was flown on Delta), but not for SEA to JFK. Is it possible for her to receive that credit? She has had no luck asking customer service so far (been told to wait on two separate occasions), and the "Mileage Credit Verification" form on delta.com says "We're sorry, we cannot fulfill your mileage credit request because the activity is not eligible to earn miles per Delta rules".

Yes, but likely they will need to call Delta and specifically ask for "Original Routing Credit".

Had MEM-ATL-LAX cancelled (a couple of weeks in advance the ATL-LAX flight was removed) and rebooked to MEM-SLC-LAX. ORC denied. Going to try again.

Did you rebook yourself via SLC or did system auto rebook you?

In this case they likely see it as a voluntary change (albeit free). When system rebooked you, did it keep you going via ATL? If so I can see them denying ORC.

yes, but the ATL options were at best 3 hours earlier or later than the original arrival time

Sorry wasn't clearer. I agree you should get ORC. I just can get why an agent thinks you aren't eligible. As long as rebooked within rebooking policies you should get ORC.
