Singapore Reservations Line often can be reached with little to no hold time.

1 (800) 835-9154 is a number that has worked for many members. It is unknown what specifically this line is used for.

This number also stopped working around March 24, 2022.

I wonder how much DL is making off of no shows because pax can't cancel tickets - either online or by phone - before their flight departs?

I really think this is a DOT issue (though DOT does not yet agree with me).

Callback feature gone for Diamond line

I am currently on hold with Delta. For the first time that I can recall in at least a year I have not been offered a callback. At least with the callback I knew how long a wait I would have. Now of course I have no clue. Is this another enhancement or am I just lucky?

Not working for me either. Also no estimated wait time or hold music. Something is definitely up. It is Schedule Change Saturday.

After waiting on hold last night for 30 minutes, I asked the DL Diamond Desk Rep if she know anything about the call back feature being gone. She told me that when there are so many calls waiting, the call back option is not given.

This afternoon we got callback in 19 minutes, with no one on the line when the call came. They called again in 5 minutes, but again no one on the line. We called again and got a call back offer, but stayed on the line. Agent in 10 minutes

Yep I was told when there is more than ~300 people in the queue for the PM line, the callback option is shut off.

I waited an hour for someone to finally answer, they couldn’t hear me and hung up so quick I had no time to see if my microphone was off or just bad connection. Had to call again, another hour wait since no callback option. 2 hours. Diamond

Has anyone worked on a hack to bypass the introductory message when you call? It is 1 minute and 53 seconds I would like back from my life each time I call just to access the callback feature. I would love to just press a button and get on the call back without having to hear all the blabber about “unexpected call volumes”.

Called 1st time this morning and was not given callback option. Just called back again and was given callback option and estimated 40 minute wait. Received call back in about 15 minutes.

At some point over the past 16 months, the "unexpected call volumes" excuse became a flat out lie. It's an insult to pax that DL not only still offers it, but makes us wait through it before even putting us in the queue.

Does the singapore call center give you an approx wait time? I've always gotten through right away but if I'm on hold and quoted five minutes I'll wait but if the hold time is an hour I'd like to be told up front.
