Tell that to DL's new Revenue Management team... these people are so incompetent that now I often see Basic priced higher than both Main and Comfort (on top of the usual mistake of pricing PS above D1 on some markets). Maybe DL wants to "keep climbing" towards even more embarrassing levels of incompetence. What an interesting publicly traded company DL is... lol

From my understanding in one of the recent press releases, they have done exactly this, offering temporary contracts to hundreds of folks who retired.

On the earnings call today, Ed Bastian no joke said folks who are having trouble getting help through the regular queues should just email him. He also bristled when told about 6-hour waits and said their worst average, which he admits is unacceptable, was an hour. So, if you're quoted something ludicrous and you can explain it via email, I guess email Ed.

Chat is also not working for me via Business chat on iPhone. Last response at 10.30am Wednesday. I keep sending a yes message every 8 hours or so.

Called again today - same thing. No option for call back. Been on hold for 15 minutes and counting.
If this is a new "upgrade" - this is a huge issue

Appears that the chat at delta.com did work in the last few days, even if there was no follow-up message from the chat bot.
Just opened the chat again and discovered two things:
1) Yesterday, an agent replied just 30min after I replied with "representative". However I thought the chat wasn't working (because there was no auto-reply) and had already closed the browser window at this point.
2) The chat bot is once again working properly and replied with "Your conversation will be assigned to a specialist as soon as one becomes available" etc. However, after 5 hours and frequent prompts to reply "yes", no agent was seen so far.

I think you called the British Airways phone number. I made this mistake once, I think it may be listed on some website as the Delta number.
