I've got an ATL-AMS coming up with these options (plus a "bistro steak" that sounds meh). Search-fu in the meal thread is coming up short as this seems to be an updated Linton Hopkins menu vs. the most recent reports.
Any thoughts/recommendations? Leaning toward either the chicken or shrimp & grits. This is the exact thing I was asking about a few posts up. It seems like even if the other users have their skymiles account and email address or even just their email address as a non skymiles account member only the main person on the PNR receives the email for their pre-order only... SMH...

FWIW it didn't when my mom and I were traveling on the same PNR back in May. I got the pre-select email, she didn't (but Twitter took care of her selection quickly) -- she has a SkyMiles account and her correct email address in the profile.
My spouse and I travel together a lot. We both get the pre-order emails sent to our own email addresses, every time, without fail. Have never had to call in about it. |

I have traveled with my wife three times and only I have received the pre-order which I always chalked up to the fact that I do not book logged into SkyMiles because I credit to FlyingBlue. |
Flying SAN-DTW-AMS(-BAR). Had applied a GUC. The SAN-DTW segment cleared as a complimentary upgrade and I got the email for meal choice. The DTW-AMS GUC cleared this morning, and flight is not till 6.11pm PDT tomorrow. Is there any hope Delta will send out an email for pre-ordering on that segment? Can I call into the medallion line to pre-order?
(Btw, I am already checked in for all the flights) |

If it's still 24 hours or more from departure time you can call in or send a note to Twitter.

They emails are sometimes sent late if you purchase the ticket late or get a late upgrade, within T-72. Still, it's safer to call now, to be told the choices and pick one, well before the deadline in case IROPs or a meltdown occurs and you can't reach DL without a wait. |

Just to add a further point of reference, my RUC for LAX-BOS D1 on Saturday was confirmed this morning around T-51. Instead of waiting around to potentially get an email, I messaged them on Twitter and had no problem making my selection. The following choices were presented to me:
1POLENTA MARSALA*Coleman Family Farm kale, roasted Schaner Family Farm shallots, button mushrooms *vegetarian selectionPPML 2MARINARA BRAISED MEATBALLS**with Bianco DiNapoli tomato, garlic bread, Gioia ricotta **contains porkPBML 3SALMON NICOISE SALADGarden Of Farm gem lettuce, Tamai Farm green beans, Schaner Farm hard boiled egg, Weiser Farm potatoes, Munak Ranch cherry tomatoes, olives, capers and dijon mustard vinaigrettePLML Decided to give the meatballs a try since I'm a bit picky when it comes to salmon. |
I had a good salmon salad, but not this one, on a domestic FC flight. According to my email confirmation, it was the "chilled grilled salmon salad." IIRC it had grilled peppers, asparagus, and was served over some grain or pasta (that I didn't eat), with Rustic Bakery sour dough flatbread and of course a Dancing Deer chocolate chip cookie. It was a nice lunch, on a flight that was about a thousand miles. |
