There should be a “SELECT YOUR ENTREE” option appear underneath the itinerary on the My Trips page. Additionally, when you click on the colored box that has the passenger name/seat assignment, it should open up a section that has ticket number, FF number, special services, etc. There should be a link that says “Entree Selection” with a clickable “select entree” or “view/change” option after it’s been selected. Note this is only appearing in the updated app on iOS devices.

Got email for both legs ATL-SLC and back last weekend. Asked me to choose, but did not ask my companion to choose. The outbound did not accept my selection, gave error every time and the return the FA showed the opposite selection from what I chose so, yeah, didn't work great!

Wow. Are you people all using the App or something? I've never had a problem selecting on the full website on a computer.

Mine was done via the email, clicked the link and chose.

It is a new feature to choose meal up to 21 days in advance now in the app. Previously, it was email 3 days before. The feature seems to have been rolled out pretty quietly because I only noticed it in the app update notes on iOS

As a side note it is only currently available for the iOS version of the app. The update has not rolled out to Android yet..

Mine still stubbornly shows 5.0.1 from Oct 14 as the latest ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I noticed this when I updated the app and as I have a DO transcon coming up in a week I clicked the button to choose my entree. I chose the Marinara braised meatballs over the chicken cacciatore and baked veg rigatoni. I noticed that you can go back and change your mind later with the "change your entree" button.

I can't save my choice on 5.1 on IOS ... and the messaging agent are useless

I have a flight in domestic First (upgrade) which is allowing me to select a meal, but the second leg is in Premium Econ to ICN, While i can see all the Delta One meal options it appropriately won't let me select one (and the same for the return flights) - it also won't let me save the choice for flight I should be able to make a selection for - so essentially useless.

I had the same issue at first. I found I had to click on the reservation itself. When you get the next screen it lists the two flights separately and there is an option to choose your meal on just the leg you were upgraded on.

Regarding pre-selection of meals. I booked domestic 1st class flights for my husband and myself and are on one reservation for the two of us. I did make sure that both of our Skymiles numbers and emails are in the reservation. My question is will we both get emails to make a selection? What about the Delta app? I have the Delta app on my phone but he does not. Will this appear on the app under the shared reservation number? Will I be able to select both of our choices in the Delta app?
