We are flying SEA-ICN in PS in 7 days. I do not see an option to select an entree in the app. Is preorder available for PS on long haul international flights, or is it only available for F/Delta One?

No line, 2 entrees, the salmon was really salty. now a bit off topic - -The food highlight was the WestJet lounge in CCY. 915 pm and they are serving a choice of 3 entrees from an order online menu. I had a brat with grilled onions and bacon and cheese, served with freshly made fries. Last week I pre-ordered some sort of pork dish for a D1 flight from SCL to ATL. The food was pretty much inedible. They brought out an additional desert, I think it was supposed to be a sundae, but it obviously had thawed and was re frozen, so no go there as well. Very disappointing flight in one of the old Latam A350 with the 2x2x2 configuration in "D1".

Flying ATL-LAS in F on a 757-300 in a couple of weeks on a published Dinner flight. Is meal pre-select available on this route? If so, what are the current choices? Any intel from the group appreciated.

Ordering on the 321neo?
Pretty sure Delta IT hasn't configured pre-ordering for flights on the 321neo yet... Flew a R/T SEA-BOS a few weeks ago on the neo and no option to select either way. Thought it might be the route (and saw others calling out no pre-orders on the route). Now flying SEA-LAX Monday morning on the 321neo and no preorder link. Has anyone successfully been able to pre-order on this (reasonably nice) bird?

I got the pre-select email this morning for SEA-MSP in 7 days. App gives me an “internal error,” while email link only shows charcuterie as an option. I’m not sure if it’s isolated to this flight, or if pre-selection is being glitchy in general right now.

I'm flying Delta for the first time next week (international business travel in Delta One). My flight departs in less than 7 days time but I don't see any option to choose meals in the app. Haven't got an email either.
Anyone know what I need to do to get it to show up? |

Anyone know what I need to do to get it to show up? If not, tap on your itinerary, select the direction of flight, then scroll down to your passenger name. Tap your name, and see if entree selection “view/select” appears. I have a domestic F trip coming up that didn’t populate the usual “Select Your Entree” on the main screen, nor did I receive an email. But the option to choose an entree was there, just under the passenger details section on the app. Once I selected the entree, “Change Your Entree” then appeared on the main screen. If this doesn’t help, not sure there is much more you can do. Phone agents used to be able to select for you, but lately reports are they can only assist with Special Meals. |
Family is flying FLL-SEA-BOI in February coming back from a cruise. Same itinerary, but I'm on one PNR and my wife and three kids are on a separate PNR (they're linked together). How can she pre-order meals for the kids on the FLL-SEA flight? In the past, the only time I've pre-ordered meals is for myself.
Also, how far in advance will we be able to pre-order? I hope to be able to do it before boarding the cruise (it's a 5-day cruise). |
D1 - Select Entree - Failing
Taking a quick trip to OGG on the D1 from ATL, and it is not letting us select any entrees. It errors with the screenshot. It gave us the entrée option 7 days out, but just chatted with a DL agent who says it is 72 hours to T-24 that it will work. Why do they present the option at 7 days? Anyone else had this problem?
Update 12072022: Had the agent re-issue the ticket. No help. Deleted app and reinstalled no luck. But the good and weird news is that my wife and I were able to select our entrees via my wife's phone. My phone (Apple) on current IOS still gets the same message as I posted below. But my wife's phone (Apple - previous IOS) was able to select the entrees for both of us. I still cannot access the entrees on my phone. Desktop (www.delta.com) doesn't show the entrée selection at all, and neither does the iPad version. ATL - OGG meal selection transcon FC meals - 3 choices - the same ones for some time now if you've gotten a meal out of ATL. Return meals OGG - ATL -6 choices and very Hawaiian inspired. Don't know if the problem is the newer IOS, or that our PNR's are linked, or what, but there is an issue here. Oh, and never got an email (as I have on long flights with meal service before).
