Special meals aren’t shown as regular meals. You may not see it but as long as you save your vegetarian meal via the special meal link, it should be saved. There is a chance that there could be catering issues with yours not being loaded. In which case, I hope you have a backup if that happens. |
The vegetarian option (which I think is the ravioli/pomodoro sauce per this page) https://firstclass.mydeltamenu.com/J...ex-static.html doesn't show up on the preorder for JFK for whatever reason on my app. Just the poke bowl and "meatballs" which they don't even describe what kind of meat lol

Flying paid D1 ATL-CPT. No preselect option or email. I called in and agent seemed aware of issues with preselect. She read me the menu (alone with the preselect only options) and then successfully placed meal selection.

I just did a SDC to a later flight tomorrow night (so still outside the 24 hour window). I don't see the "Select Your Entree" choice in the app. Is that more likely because of the SDC or because the aircraft is an a321neo?

Does the selected pre-order show as a “special meal request” on “My Trips”?
I requested the Japanese Meal for SEA-HND over the phone as the app wasn’t working, and the agent put it in as a special meal request (e.g. veg, low sodium). Should I call again? |

All D1 meal selections are done this way. However you can't select the other special meals options (Beef, Fish/Chicken, Pasta, and two "preorder only") without selecting via the select entree option. They dont appear on the drop down since not exactly sure which exact options will be available for your flight till closer in. ie it might be a Prok entree instead of chicken, or (as on my upcoming flight) Osterich. Your BP will show you have a SPECL MEAL REQUESTED even though you don't see those on the list. |

Family of five flying FLL-SEA next Tuesday (2/21). Booked together but I split myself off and we’re on separate PNRs now (due to massaging some RUCs,etc). I got an email yesterday to choose my meal. My wife still hasn’t gotten any notification yet.
Any rhyme or reason to the delay? I’m PM. Do I get first dibs over them? |

Upgraded to F on ATL-SNA next week using RUC and when I go into the app to select my meal, the meal selection page just says "No meals available for pre-selection at this time." Hoping this is just an IT glitch and I don't need to call in to address a potential ticketing issue. I'm newly PM and this is my first time using an RUC, so not sure what to expect or what to look out for.
