This wiki is intended to contain a list of opportunities to fly internationally configured wide-body aircraft within the United States, aside from the usual JFK-LAX/SFO 767s and newer domestic DeltaOne routes. This is a collaborative wiki, not an OP-maintained thread; please contribute by editing the wiki directly as you become aware of regularly scheduled or repositioning flights. Schedules change far more frequently than community members have time to update this wiki; therefore please verify the equipment before purchasing a flight.

JFK-LAS
JFK-PHX
JFK-SAN
JFK-SEA
JFK-SFO
JFK-SLC
LAX-KOA
SEA-KOA
SEA-OGG

Positioning / one-offs:
SLC-SEA
SLC-LAS
SLC-BOS 4x a week
BOS-LAX
JFK-MEX
JFK-SJU
LAX-HNL

one way to search for these on ITA

This Delta Cargo schedule lists wide body routes by region.

Looks like the A350 is running between LAX and ATL, Sunday only Red-Eye to ATL, Monday evening only return to LAX. Through Sept. 6th

From another thread, at present, there's SLC-HNL 1x daily in 763 (lie-flat). I've booked HNL-SLC red-eye right after Thanksgiving this year as well, at the moment it shows operated by A330

Note that can and does get subbed with a domestic 767. In fact I currently assume if a 767 it'll be domestic, just happens to often.

The domestic 767s will be gone by the end of the summer so no need for OP to worry about it being swapped to a domestic 763 then. Next summer, SLC-HNL goes to a 75H.

Are sure they'll be gone? Just like the 747, they've gotten reprieve after reprieve.

Updated the wiki to reflect removal of 330-300 from ATL-HNL and HNL-ATL for summer 2018 dates. The 330 was shown on this route during the summer for a while several months ago but then removed again. Now it's all 767-400 all the time on this route, even around Christmas and New Years.

I ended up on a widebody today, 7-20-2018.

767-300ER, SEA-ATL flight 38.

I used FCM to buy up a company paid coach ticket to first class. This should be a much more comfortable ride home then the 757 originally scheduled.

Is the ATL-LAX not daily anymore? Can’t seem to find it on a Wednesday morning in September.

It comes and goes. It just depends on plane usage. I suspect with 777s being upgraded to D1 Suites we wont see it on ATL/LAX much.

Ah gotcha. Makes sense. Wonder if they will kill off that wide body usage once they do that upgrade. I am surprised there is no dedicated D1 ATL-LAX/SFO at this point. It's their main hub and have to be in the NE to get that setup.

If they do it because of positioning then I don't see why D1 suites would change it.

I agree, how is the 77L supposed to position between ATL and LAX? The 77L currently flies 2 routes out of LAX to HND and SYD but HND is switching to a 242 ton 333 in October so that means the 77L fleet is isolated from the rest of the fleet in ATL. They are still going to need to rotate the planes between ATL and LAX and it dosen't make much sense why because they have "suites" installed, why they can't run on it?
