This wiki is intended to contain a list of opportunities to fly internationally configured wide-body aircraft within the United States, aside from the usual JFK-LAX/SFO 767s and newer domestic DeltaOne routes. This is a collaborative wiki, not an OP-maintained thread; please contribute by editing the wiki directly as you become aware of regularly scheduled or repositioning flights. Schedules change far more frequently than community members have time to update this wiki; therefore please verify the equipment before purchasing a flight.

These international narrowbodies would normally also fly the domestic DeltaOne routes JFK-LAX/SFO, BOS-LAX, and DCA-LAX.

During COVID-19, when many international routes are suspended, they can be found on some domestic routes (including Hawai'i):

Regular service through March 2021:
JFK-LAS
JFK-PHX
JFK-SAN
JFK-SEA
JFK-SFO
JFK-SLC
LAX-KOA
SEA-KOA
SEA-OGG

Positioning / one-offs:
SLC-SEA
SLC-LAS
SLC-BOS 4x a week
BOS-LAX
JFK-MEX
JFK-SJU
LAX-HNL

one way to search for these on ITA

This Delta Cargo schedule lists wide body routes by region.

Looks like the A350 is running between LAX and ATL, Sunday only Red-Eye to ATL, Monday evening only return to LAX. Through Sept. 6th

I have a LAS-ATL mid-December which went from a 753 to a 321 in last month's SCS, but as of today is showing the ex-LATAM A350 config.

Per a post in the Facebook DM group this is 12/7-1/7.

SEA is getting once daily to/from ATL on a 330 for the same date range. Looks like the morning inbound to SEA turns to the early CDG flight and the afternoon outbound to ATL turns off either the noon-ish AMS or CDG arrivals.

Not scheduled, but a couple of months back I ended up on my first A350 flight SEA-MSP after an ICN-MSP flight got diverted the night before.

Looks like due to the conflict in the Middle East DL will be sending an A350 daily ATL-LAS-ATL starting December 7th and ending January 7th. Flight is DL777 both ways and leaves ATL at 8:30am and heads back to ATL at 11:16am. Good news is it's an A350 on a domestic route. Bad news is it's the Latam A350's (at least as far as I can tell via the DL website).

What does LAS-ATL have to do with the middle east?

DL service to TLV from BOS/ATL/JFK is temporarily suspended, freeing up widebody aircraft that can be put to use on domestic routes.

Winter widebodies to desert cities in the southwest happen every year. DL operates more than a dozen summer-only widebody routes. There is no shortage of widebodies this time of year.

DTW-ATL/ATL-DTW gets a daily A350 (not ex-LATAM) starting Nov 5th. 4:31PM DTW-ATL flight and 8:15PM ATL-DTW flight. Other non-D1 routes with regular (daily) widebody action in November besides ATL-LAX include ATL-JFK, ATL-MCO, ATL-SLC, and ATL-PHX.

Usually 767’s and A330’s. Having additional A350’s for domestic routes (even during the winter months) is not very common. Especially here in Vegas. Will be nice to see it on a daily basis for a little bit!
