This wiki is intended to contain a list of opportunities to fly internationally configured wide-body aircraft within the United States, aside from the usual JFK-LAX/SFO 767s and newer domestic DeltaOne routes. This is a collaborative wiki, not an OP-maintained thread; please contribute by editing the wiki directly as you become aware of regularly scheduled or repositioning flights. Schedules change far more frequently than community members have time to update this wiki; therefore please verify the equipment before purchasing a flight.

During COVID-19, when many international routes are suspended, they can be found on some domestic routes (including Hawai'i):

Regular service through March 2021:
JFK-LAS
JFK-PHX
JFK-SAN
JFK-SEA
JFK-SFO
JFK-SLC
LAX-KOA
SEA-KOA
SEA-OGG

Positioning / one-offs:
SLC-SEA
SLC-LAS
SLC-BOS 4x a week
BOS-LAX
JFK-MEX
JFK-SJU
LAX-HNL

one way to search for these on ITA

This Delta Cargo schedule lists wide body routes by region.

Looks like the A350 is running between LAX and ATL, Sunday only Red-Eye to ATL, Monday evening only return to LAX. Through Sept. 6th

I'm not aware of an official thread. There are many discussion threads on the topic tho
Maybe least liked, but it's lay flat. Always better than domestic F.

I didn't realize we had any 767s on the ATL-PDX route but reading another thread today about a 25 year old version, looks like we do:

Note DL2648 is 76W. It's not the domestic 767 discussed in mentioned thread. DL2715, however is the domestic 767 discussed.

777 ATL-MSP Nov 14

Noticed this today when I was booking a flight to MSP- Looks like it was just updated but with old config seat map. I assume this is one of the birds that flies MSP-HND regularly. I used an RUC to immediately clear into F, but knowing my luck, it will be swapped for a 739.

The international version is now loaded in the system until the summer(ish) schedule comes onboard the second week of April.

DL2768 HNL - SLC in A330-300 - unlike the last year with Westin blanket, this time it’s just the regular FC blanket.

The plane appears to return as well.

Just booked roundtrip ATL to LAX the week of January 14th and I am on 777 for both flights.

I’ve found SLC now varies depending on high and low seasons for travel to HI. I’ve seen the A330 on SLC-HNL. I’ve also looked at dates where it’s a domestic 757 with the 20 standard F seats (I think AA uses domestically configured F cabins on PHX-Hawaii routes which are of a similar stage length).

Things massively change over 6 months. At time of that comment the list of routes with D1 Suites hadn't come to full fruition and the 777 refresh was holding at a big old 1 plane with no movement seen.

When is it a 757? I've never seen that on SLC/HNL.

Just checked ... for summer season 2019, right now it shows 757 with regular F seat. Though I believe this year summer there was domestic F 767 on that route. It just the winter season that gets the A330

As noted above, in the summer. I know for itineraries I've looked at in the Summer and early Fall to HNL for this coming year, SLC-HNL is showing a domestic 757, the bi-product of the retiring of the domestic 767s. There's probably slack in the A330 fleet in the winter time (which also corresponds to when demand to HI is higher), hence an A330 on the route, while in the summer time, there is less slack in the A330 fleet (and less demand to Hawaii in the summer/fall), so SLC-HNL, now instead of getting a domestic 767 due to retirement, will now be getting a domestic 757.

Originally it was going to be A330 year round with the domestic 767 retirement. I just don't get how you can go from a 767 to 757 in terms of passenger numbers. A 757 is a big reduction in passenger numbers.
