11 of 38 with F0 as a DM on a T ATL-SAN today.
Weather in ATL today could be problematic so switched to tomorrow. Shows F4 Y9....still have a shot.
Kudos to DL for doing it as a courtesy.

I was number 72 on ATL-DFW a couple weeks ago. There was something like 102 on the UG list for a plan that only held like 150. By far the longest list I've seen.

A couple of upgrade extremes in recent months...
Back in November, I was 26 of 88 as a PM EWR-ATL on a Thursday evening.
Last Saturday, I was 1 of 6 as a PM SFO-JFK with 20 open seats... yep, that's every seat open... very strange for this flight, indeed! Of course on the return yesterday, things were more normal as I was 9 of 52 with 4 open seats.
Despite the reported diluting of Delta Elite Status, my upgrade percentages as a Delta PM, primarily flying from ATL, are way better than my previous Continental percentages as Presidential Platinum (highest level) out of EWR... and, you can't "buy" Elite status on Continental. I think the difference is that people actually buy more first class seats one CO as it is (or at least was) a very quality product. Service similar to DL's LAX/SFO-JFK service on every flight, especially all transcons.

Last Saturday the 8 AM ATL-SLC 767-300 flight had 45+ on their upgrade list. The 8:10 AM ATL-LAX 767-300 I was on had two dozen or so (this is on a Saturday). The next day, the SEA-ATL 757-200 redeye I was on had 36 or so. I was glad to be on a Y award ticket so I didn't have to see how low I would have been

I flew this route last week. Tuesday 5:35pm MSP-DCA. Got BFU along with 2 others. CRJ900. Returned on Friday 6:25AM DCA-MSP. Upgraded 3 days out. They were selling upgrades at the gate for $75. We flew with one empty in F. Again a CRJ900.
