As a PM on a K fare I was somewhere in the 20s out of about 40 for 0 seats going DTW-SFO on the last flight out on a Sunday.
On the way back, I was again 20 something out of 50ish from SFO-MSP, earliest flight on Thursday morning. I heard some people talking about the upgrade list w/ a FA and she remembered this route having 96 people on the upgrade list one time.
Both these routes were offering P-fares right up until departure. I had better luck as a GM earlier in the year.

Last Saturday AM with 0 FC available I was #3 of 40 something on a LAS-ATL segment ~ as a DM on a B fare as I had to book it last minute ~ and when I booked it that flight had the highest amount of F still available at the time. Needless to same, I SDC'd that bad boy onto the LAS-JFK flight that had 8 open FC seats and ended up getting home earlier, earned more miles and sat upfront.
Would have been the 2nd UG that I missed all year had I stayed on the flight. Was expecting to be #1 on the list as I had put in for a PU503 upgrade - not. Not sure who was trumping me other than a DM on a full Y but there was zero chance I was going to risk missing the upgrade so I bailed.

Due to ATL being the main hub and SEA tech heavy in business, which = tons of weekly traveling IT Consultants on this route. I am DM on a flight next Tuesday ATL-SEA on an (M) fare and have not cleared T-4 days out now.

It was an old Northwest 757 I think. I am a DM, and was on award ticket, so I didn't make the upgrade. I'm pretty sure 95% of the plane was zone1/2. It was awesome.

In 2010, as a PM UG'd about 80%, usually on the 9:50 am ATL-SEA and the 1:30 pm return. Since last Summer, no UG's. Next week, my 2nd to SEA as a DM and I decided to SWU (1st time, paid F).
