For the Texas football fans, I'd highly recommend the new Dallas Cowboys book: Boys Will Be Boys, by Jeff Pearlman.

It'll be interesting to see how much of a route shuffle we see.

The frequencies into the ST hubs will probably switch to the *A hubs...me personally, I'm hoping for EWR-IST. IST is probbly well down the list after FRA, MUC, and maybe even WAW.

Not all people in Texas like the Cowboys. Quite the opposite, for many.

And I'm not sure the literacy rate of those that do. ;)

You don't need to. It's more like a story of pot, cocaine, whores, contracts, and occasionally some football. The book covers the rise and fall from the 1-15 season to the season after the last Super Bowl win.

The term "mouth breathers" comes to mind.

I hate being in a shared temporary office area.

I am listening to a woman who "really doesn't like the whole 'travel' thing" talking about checking a bag at IAH. She is two offices down from me and she was gone for two days. Do people really check bags for two days?!

Now she's complaining about being on an ERJ.

Ah, well, the thrill of holding an NH F ticket was short-lived. I just couldn't justify the cash + mi. expenditure with upcoming wedding/living expenses, so refunded this morning. It did give me something to obsess over yesterday during a slow day, though. :D

I did, however, locate a suitable SPG hotel with what sounds like a swingin' bridal suite in New Orleans. The Westin Canal Place has a 1600 sq. ft. Suite with panoramic views of the river and French Quarter for only $619/night. ^

Why not just redeem outright for an F reward?

That would be me today...I'm so f-ing congested that if I close my mouth I'll asphyxiate myself.

Thanks. I never understood the "Evangelist" thing myself. This is actually the board I've managed to have the most tenure with: the Honda Civic board and the Opie & Anthony board both bored me after a while.

Hrm, my longest running forum (an still going) I have a join date of 3/20/2002. The forum that I used to be quite active in but ended up ditching after a while were the forums on the Darwin Awards site.

Meh. IMO, that book is a waste of trees that could have been put to better use wiping my backside. You're pimping Cowgirl propaganda on a forum with a heavy Houston element. You might as well try to hawk Yankees caps at the entrance to Fenway.

My mother has a couple that is going on an 18-day TATL cruise next week: FCO-FLL. These same people checked two bags between them for four days in Vegas.

ETA: Me personally, I can get about five days into a overhead-friendly bag.

Point noted, but still a good story. The next book on the list is a GnR bio.

It's also a question of preserving vacation days. The Significant Otter's graduation has been scheduled for a Friday afternoon (), and I'll also have to be in MSY for the full-day prior to the wedding. In addition to the Honeymoon, that leaves me with three spare vacation days in all of 2009. I'm going to have to ration them.
