What a quick game so far

Indeed...it only took them 49 hours to play the first seven innings. ;)

I give the Phillies credit, as they clearly beat the Rays, but it is a bit disappointing for the Florida in me.

I just saw a couple of my former co-workers on the field and in the clubhouse during the post game show. :( I probably would have been there. I wonder if Philly is getting torn up because of all the drunk idiots out there. How many arrests will happen?

Son of a b*&# According to the PDA site, Friday's 772 to NRT was a AVOD one as of a hour or two ago, but it got swapped out with a crappy non-AVOD one.:mad::mad::mad:

What are the odds that AVOD will be swapped back in?

:mad::mad::mad:

Slim to none. The default seat map is AVOD, and they make the final selection about 48hrs before departure.

I'm so f-ing pissed (does it show?). Tracking back on pda show me that tonight's TLV flight was delayed for a aircraft swap. I guess something happened with #10, which was assigned earlier. No AVOD, and more sucky, no power. F&%*.:mad::mad:

I need advice from the box.

For the BRU DO, should I burn 120k and fly IAH-FRA-BRU-MUC-ORD-EWR in LH F on the IAH-FRA and MUC-ORD legs or burn my UA voucher and use SWUs to upgrade into C?

I would do the latter.

MR BL is #6 on the red eye SFO-IAH - ouch! 15/16 so looks like no battlefield for him. I was a Y up so if he's really nice I'm going to switch him and take his exit aisle. I'll sleep no matter where I am. I have a nice comfy seat from TPE-SFO and right now he's in a middle in elite (the elite isn't bad, but the middle sucks). Edited to add the nice lady in the EVA lounge was able to get him an aisle.

There are emPower plugs in rows 17-26 in Y on the non-AVOD 772s. I can spot you a Dell emPower adapter for your trip if that is helpful.

I'd take a non AVOD 777 over my 762 fiesta next week, any day.

I can't wait for CO to join the * so we can see a higher frequency of 777's into FRA as well as (hopefully) multiple departure times. If US can make it work...

Winner winner spaetzle dinner.

From the time the game restarted , it just looked like the phillies were pumped and ready to end the series . The rays were wearing ski masks and earmuffs, they looked like they had given up hope and were too cold and just wanted to go home.

As much I don't like Philly sports on any level or in any sport, I realized that I should have been rooting for the Phils solely due to my dislike of Philadelphia...that way when the riots started I could cheer those too.

Morning, Box! :D

I just wish they would fly the route out of IAH.

 - both goalies gave up bad deflections and such last night. On one hand it was entertaining, and on the other it was getting frustrating because I'm still a little bit of an old school Devils fan...I worry that the offensive power isn't there to win if Marty gives up more than 3.

I didn't think that shootout goal by Toronto was kosher either...the snow spray in front of the net was certainly classless, but I've come to expect that from the Leafs. On that note, Ryan Hollweg is a perfect fit there. He couldn't fully be a tool as a Ranger -- he needed to have a bigger group of tools around him, so Toronto was a smart career move on his part.

I wanna see what Rich Chere and Co. said on the Star-Ledger blog...haven't gotten coffee yet.

ETA: Star-Ledger blog comment: "Who was that guy dressed in Marty's jersey?"
