I looked at a Fit, but they feel awfully vulnerable to high winds, a crash, or collapsing on the road if you are carrying more than 2 people.

For just a few thousand more, you can get a CR-V, and get a lot more room, slightly worse fuel economy (although I often get around 33-34 MPG on the highway), a higher ride, and a better feeling of safety.

I just got Wii Fit Plus....some of the exercises are pretty painful for a desk-bound individual like myself.

The drive to JFK caused my EZ-Pass to recharge (+$25) just a week after it had already recharged. Stupid Verrazano Bridge tolls. A drive to an airport should never involve over $20 in tolls.

Been playing with the new version of Picasa and the facial recognition feature it has. Scary. Quite effective, too.

So my $5 a day in the parking garage I should not complain about?

I'd kill for $5/day parking at the NY/NJ airports - I lucked out with about $12/day near JFK. On top of the $20+ in tolls!

Oh well... :)

Yeah, the NYC MTA bridges are all $5.50 per direction. Back in the 80s they decided they would only collect tolls one way on the Verrazano so it's $11. I will gladly cross the VZ to get to Brooklyn, but I always come back through the city and the Holland. I'm too cheap to pay the $11. Incidentally they still have the toll booths on both side, go figure.

I'd kill for $10/day on airport parking. $48/day is way too pricey.

That's right, the Verrazano toll is only one way like the other crossings (I don't go to JFK often and I was a little foggy on the drive home). Is there another toll in Staten Island or am I imagining things? If not, I think I overestimated my tolls at $20, but they were still in the $15 range with NJT tolls.

Well you have the PA bridges (Gotheals/Outerbridge) at $8 and then you have the VZ at $11, so your tolls should have been $19 before any NJTPK tolls (if you had any).

NM, i got confused with something else. But, $27 and $33 is still way too high.
