Updating my FlightMemory, and I just realized I'm only a few months away from flight number 1,000.

I told myself I would not post in Teh Box until I reached Wii Bowling Pro status. Here I am. :D

I switched to bowling after slamming my hand into the coffee table (twice :rolleyes:) while playing Wii Tennis. I won the match, but hot damn does my finger hurt.

The Fit is one of the best small cars out there.

The Fit only came to the US market as a result of all the kids that were tricking out Civics. (I sadly was one of them at one point.) Honda was looking at what the aftermarket shops were selling and decided that the new 8th generation Civic should have most of those things in it from the factory and be marketed as a non-entry-level car. With Honda then in need of a stripped down basic crapbox model for the US, they Americanized the EU/JDM version of the Fit.

I was hoping to get on the 6 a.m. flight EAR-DEN this morning and it cancelled. I may be stuck in the frozen tundra; blizzard conditions expected at my departure time. :rolleyes: I would be 0 for 3 on EAR-DEN flights recently.

I had another somewhat :rolleyes: agent roulette experience with CO again. I know surprising.

Since seatcounter is showing my flight (752) to LAS as 3 up front, I decided to not chance the EUA and just buy up to M. CO.com is offering me a buy up for $245. I paid $129 for my W ticket. I add $129 (fare paid) and $245 (buy up fee) and come up with a total of $374. Something seemed fishy to me, so I check a one-way M ticket and co.com is selling it for $314 all in :-:. I call the elite line and agent one tells me I purchased my ticket in August and I am past the 30 day period for a refund and cannot make a change, period. :confused: I call again and I get someone who tells me that I was they don’t see the $314 fare at all. I explain it all to them, but I am getting nowhere. They don’t want to hear me. Third call I get someone who understands the problem and gets a supervisor to resolve it. He figured the add collect to be $185 and then said I would need to pay a change fee. I explained to him that I am buying up to a higher fare. He puts me on hold then said as a onetime courtesy he will waive the change fee. I thanked him, but asked him if he would not mind reading “GG BUYUP” to see that there is no change fee. Anyway, now I am in 1A on a 752 on a 5.5-hour flight after working a 12-hour overnight shift. I think it’s money well spent, especially since the upgrade lists have been 50 deep to LAS for the past couple days.
