I've recently had that problem with Franny's and it seems to be that the connection where the mini-USB from the charger comes in to the BB has somehow loosened. I can still get hers charged with the USB cord from the computer which seems to fit better but a new phone is on its way.

It will, however, be a pretty good party.

:D

I am actually wearing pants!

Even the Boardroom Concierges were surprised :p

But it will be an enjoyable evening :D

I heard, as part of my admonition after declaring I would fly into Mendoza rather than partake of a lengthy bus ride over the mountains. I simply wanted the possibility of spending more time in Mendoza for wine and cows.

Contrary to popular belief, the customer is not always right.

And to think that yesterday after being on a customer site, I came back to the office and described their network as a cluster**** to the various people here. Needless to say I didn't commit customer suicide as I made sure it wasn't said in front of same. Now I get to work late tonight at said customer site converting said cluster into a real network.

For you tech folks, the only thing holding the network together is "ip proxy-arp". Yeah. That bad. :td:

Wow.

Do they rely on proxy-arp on the servers as well in lieu of a default route?!?!

At iah on plane to atl. 73g landing gear lever has a "do not operate sticker on it." it may be awhile before I leave.

Well, umm...

How about I saw that in a DHCP scope, the def-gw being handed out was not in the same subnet as the scope subnet. That's bad, but everything was still working. Hmm. Just to be nice, fixed it, tested, everything still worked. Got a call 2 hours later, their IP telephony system is now having one-way voice. W.T.F! Changed the def-gw in the scope back, and the voice started working again. W:rolleyes:T:rolleyes:F:rolleyes:!!!

So yeah, tonight I'm roaching all the switches (HP ProCurves and Adtran NetVantas) and reconfiguring... and making sure the VLAN trunks between everything are *properly* working.

At least it's billable hours. :D^

Steph3n Nov 18, 2009 2:31 pm

proxy-arp.....oh my. Do they have that many MAC addresses on the network or just that badly designed?
