You could also be a wizzard a la Merlin although I believe his hat was red or black depending upon the source of picture.

This forum has but one Wizard, and he don't need no stinking hat.

Does enabling one's phone with Twitter make the tweets of everyone you follow ding my phone as texts?

Quick question for teh bok:

Earlier today was looking to do a mixed award of IAH-(SQ*)-SIN-(SQ)-CGK-(EK)-DXB-(EK)-IAH with the outbound in Y and the return in J. While the rep was not able to see the SQ space on the date I wanted, despite the ANA tool showing it as open he was able to see space on SQ on the next day (this was also available with ANA.) There was no issue booking the EK flights as I had verified space online before calling.

So here's the question: should I start a new thread blasting CO for this blatant attempt to deny my my god-given right to last seat arability partner inventory or just proceed directly to the lawsuit phase?

<rotten tomato>

But seriously -- does anyone know how integrated the systems are for award bookings beyond Scott's initial posting?

*flight 61 is a "through" flight with a stop in DME -- I don't think that would affect anything but just a heads up.

The integration is probably not totally complete and debugged. Doubtless Scott will say something when it is finished to CO and Star's satisfaction.

If SQ61 ends up being a problem, there are always the through-flight options from SFO.

That won't work. You have to cross over the same ocean both ways. If you don't, they treat it like a RTW. Which, for the record, sucks given how inventory is lacking at times.

For a second I thought J.Edward got C space on SQ 61 and I was going to hire ALCO to fulfill his Air Astana promise.

I've seen everything.

NSFW!!!!

Ahhhh. Got it. He'd have to drop DXB for what I said to work. @:-)

Yesterday the agents could not get my TK flights to even show up, never mind availabilty. So there are still major issues with implementation.

Thanks CM :)

I'm guessing it's just the systems still trying to adapt to each other (or maybe the ANA tool's out of sync with "real" inventory) -- but either way I just wanted to make sure I was not doing something stupid.

fozz (and sbm12 too!) it does look like you can connect through Europe on your way to Asia. When the rep and I were trying to get my EK flights he also suggested some LH connections over as well.

Either way this is a great development and IMHO the ability to mix CO's unique partners (VS and EK) in with *A will make for some great options.
