I have been very busy the past week, and tomorrow is no better. Off early in the morning to run a meeting in Columbus and then off to watch my college son show a heifer (no joke) :). I am looking foward to this :D.

Diving is done for the weekend, and not a moment too soon. My surface interval is going to be almost exactly 24 hours (the recommended minimum) before I fly home. The OLCI reminder came in just after the last dive.
Time to relax on the beach and tame in a sunset, I think.

Greetings from the Harborside Hyatt in BOS. I won a free night - compliments of AA, who couldn't find a pilot to get me (and 200 of my new Cancellation friends) back to LAX. Pretty much killed my mileage run although I'm seeking refunds on unused ticket portions.

Oh well. Stuff happens.

I swear, Atlanta has the worst drivers anywhere, and I drive in multiple states and cities every week. I don't see the crap I see here every weekend in every places with nearly the same frequency. I've had it with this crap. People here are idiots in their cars, and I'm tired of a routine errand feeling like I'm going to be killed because of these morons who can't drive unless they have a phone held up to their face.

Do you really think the hands free would change the driving issues?

You did get into the PWP a bit during the month (but were constantly on the road).

Really good thing I'm a low roller (through 7).

I bet a 47:1 to Show (and Show only) in the 9th - the graded stakes race - the overall result after that victory was down less than $40.

I had to request original routing credit on a MR gone awry once (but was on something that appeared to be "the return"). Still took four attempts to explain the issue.

I'm chilling in the Hyatt Regency Lexington, Kentucky on a $94 rate. Double stay credit, another FFN, 3,000 bonus points (diamond and G2), free parking and breakfast, and a comfortable room.

Given UK had a home football game two miles away this evening, I didn't clear the upgrade into one of the six suites.

Surprise party: done (^)
Trip delivery: done
Family drama and overall crap level: down about 92,000 levels.

I'd ask J.Edward since he uses his iPhone on the Tmo network. I've never had much of an issue with EDGE personally plus the iPhone does have WiFi to leverage.

Additionally, i've found ATT's 3g to be useless at times and slower than EDGE with how over burdened it is.

Well, my 8900 has a busted external speaker, so I've got to call and get a waranty replacement anyway.

I just wish there was a clear and easy choice here. Seems like no matter what I decide I have to make compromises. There is no perfect solution.

It certainly wouldn't make it worse. And 99% of the time the stuff I see here like that is being done by a driver with a phone to their face.

I spend far more time driving in other states and cities than I do here. Yet I see far more crap on the road here than in other cities I frequent. And seriously, EVERYONE here is on the damn phone while driving. This morning we were nearly side-swiped by a woman chatting away and drifting into our lane without even noticing she was crossing the line.
