I have 772, 767, A300, A330, and MD-11. I need to get out more.

Can't blame you there. I seek out the 777 and 767 on UA, which with flights from the East Coast to the West Coast between two UA hubs, it's not hard to do. DL also offers a lot of domestic 767 flights, although I don't fly them anymore. Other than a daily 767 or two (and seasonally a 777) on IAH-EWR, domestic widebodies on CO are hard to get.

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel gym at the Marriottt (city center) in Portland. It used to be a wimpy room with a few stair climbers, and now it appears to be several combined rooms with brand new equipment. ^

I'm never good about going in the morning, although I'm going to try and force myself to do it tomorrow.

The flight over on the 747 will be my 3rd one... I will get my first A330 on the return.

I've seen some bad fitness rooms (not at Hyatt) lately. In one, I determined that the rowing machine would be the best workout with limited possibility for technical issues ...

I'm an idiot - I've taken the A-300 as well (from MIA to Latin America) but was traumatized by sitting in Y.

I find it interesting that UA nearly doubled the fare price of the segments I purchased yesterday. I suppose they figure they can fill the seats with paying customers (like me, unfortunately). I only wish I could get DEQM, though it won't really matter as I'm too far off to hit Silver this year.

It is further interesting that after a fairly quiet summer, the tropics are firing up again with two systems under investigation in the Atlantic.

I don't know what it is... West Coast, I'm down. East Coast, forget it!

ConciergeMike Oct 20, 2009 10:36 pm

My widebody roster sucks: DC-10, MD-11, A333, B744. That's it.

I've put myself in the routine "if the place has a gym" ... And you made me check the first hotel for the Lexington / Woodford Reserve Do - apparently has a fitness room and indoor pool.

ConciergeMike Oct 20, 2009 10:39 pm

Wait, I lied. 744 #3. My trip to LHR was 744 both ways...I did have to get home.

Mine is, 762, 764, 777, and does a c17 or c130 count? A c130 isn't a jet but is plenty WIDE :D

I guess it's bedtime. I'm still a little awake so I'll grab a book for a little bit.

Night, Box.
