I am currently sitting in a youth hostel in Killareny Ireland. Dining out is expensive, laundry is interesting and polyester does wrinkle and white socks are now brown. See you all next week.

I've seen that happen before too. My guess is maybe the elite they were upgrading had travel companions he/she didn't want to leave behind. Or maybe the elite passenger getting the upgrade has no clue how the upgrades work and didn't know that's why he/she was being called up. Believe it or not, there are a lot of elites who really are clueless about how things like upgrades work.

So I discovered bumptracker.com late last night, and added a CO bump that I had gotten back in April. The first flight on the bump list before I added mine was CLE-MCO. I checked the timetable for options going down and coming back should the need arise. Going down, the next flight is a little too tight based on where we have to be and when after we land, so I don't think it would work. But coming home, there's one more CLE option and a couple of IAH options. Now the question becomes: if the opportunity exists, at what voucher point does girlfriend jump on it? Come to think of it, I might be able to get away with almost anything if I propose before the trip...Saturday morning mental exercise.

Both my Sony DSC-T1 and my fiance's Sony DSC-T10? have crapped out on us. Mine has lines scrolling across the screen and hers vibrates and causes the picture to blur. She is wanting a new one and since I am not a camera guy (yet), I come to PBC, LLC. for some advise.

My requirements: under $400. Her requirements: prefers pink and small enough to fit in her purse.

Canon SD1100 IS in Pink Melody.

A second hearty vote for Canon. I have a Powershot S3 that I really like, and the newer S5 is good too.

My parents just got an SD1100 IS (not in pink ;)) and it seems to take nice pictures. Be aware that the camera body is entirely made of plastic and has a bit of a cheap feel to it.

Looks like FareCompare made some nice updates recently. They now list base fare $, full fare classes and provide links to the fare and routing rules. Pretty nice! ^

Canon, but not DSC series. PowerShot 750. Only silver, but tiny as anything, 3" LCD, takes great shots. I turned my mother on to it after getting one for girlfriend's birthday, and girlfriend's parents are getting one soon. Mucho bueno. As an authorized representative of PBC, LLC, this post will cost you $17,854.32. :D

Nice! So, i'm glad to see we're developing the consulting mindset. :D

In all the talk of positions in PBC, LLC I realized we have no "official" bartender! Clearly the company needs a bartender.

Maybe we can bring on one of the ex-PC bartenders. Or get Charlie to moonlight for us.

How long did you wait in line? :) I'm still holding out until the lines die down...

EDIT: There are some great apps in the Apps Store - at least I get to enjoy those!
