I'm watching a DL ERJ flight that came in and still doesn't have a bus at it fifteen minutes after pulling up to the gate.

Bom...done. Maybe I'll practice my caipirinha making skills and impress Box denizens at the next DO. ;)
How long did it take to get through security at GRU? The last time I was there, the line between security and immigration took 35 minutes, and they were playing Kill Bill II (uncut) on the giant tv's on the wall in the line. Everyone was amused, except some American parents whose young children we watching the movie with bewhilderment. |

I seem to recall reading something about the mods not wanting us discussing individuals who have been banned.
shell nyc, I'm curious, what do you do for a living? Not that it's any of my ... PUN ALERT... 3...2...1... business. In other news, I was first introduced to caprianas in Germany of all places. I'm guessing cabbage isn't on the Brazilian list of ingredients? |

Have fun - GRU is not the best airport in which to have time to kill.
The last time we were there we caught a six hour delay and walked over to H. Stern where Franny saw something that she absolutely loved. We both knew we could not afford it and went back to wait for the plane. As the delay stretched and stretched, I strolled back to Stern's and tried to negotiate on the piece. Nothing doing. So, on the third two hour delay, I figured that I would try again and lo and behold, the price came down sharply almost to where I could afford it. Since being able to afford it makes no difference to those of us with lots of plastic in our pockets, I became a hero for a few days but had plenty of time to regret it when the bill came. |

Sounds like EWR behavior.

I can personally attest to the truth of that claim. :o

Bah. My SFO flight is now booked full in F.
Good for C:rolleyes: for selling the seats. Now I have to pray for an errant cloud over the dirty Jerz on Sunday to throw a wrench in the ATC, so one of the folks occupying the pointy end will get EWR'ed. |

Wasn't this the trip that you hesitated on doing LGA-IAH-SFO for?
All week the flight over has been holding steady with 3 open F seats, and I thought I was sitting pretty on an H fare. At least on the way back there's 10 seats open as of now. My knee is actually doing much better, thanks for asking. I've stayed off it for the week after getting a Cortisone shot. These things never hold but it'll get me through the summer. Looks like I won't be doing a marathon this fall though. :( Blondie also screwed me with her indecision on this trip as the Le Meridian jumped up in price, so now I'm at the Hilton. |
