As the "Couples FlightMemory" in my sig would indicate, I keep an FM page for where my girl and I have been, and we look like Florida residents because that's the entirety of where we have been together, albeit 4 different trips in 2 years together. While I don't take flights solely for lines, I'm OK with repeating lines in my personal one if it means adding new lines in the Couples one. I'm also not above engaging in creative routing to put new lines on both FM's. We want to do a PCH drive, and I can say right now that the flying will be PHL-IAH-SFO and SAN-IAH-PHL as opposed to EWR if we can help it and if we're living in the area at the time we do the trip.
I don't actually take trips to add new lines, but do try to add new ones whenever possible. As a buddy is having his Batchelor Party in Nassau in a few weeks, I will get to add MIA-NAS. Also, since I'll be heading to SFO for Labor Day, and as SMF was cheaper (for flights and rental cars), I'll be adding IAH-SMF at the end of the month. |
FlightMemory, to me, is more about the points than the lines. Unfortunately, I don't have enough of either. :( But I am working on it! :D

My SBH is going to kill me.
I just found out I have to work on 3 days of our upcoming vacation. The phone call started off with "cancel it" and I negotiated it down to I'll just work from there. I suppose it's better than me being in MLE and having to work absolute bizarro hours. How do I break the news to blondie considering I'm on the out and out with Tiffany + Co.? In other news, my manager promised the company would "make it right" to us. The ill-defined nature of that statement has me thinking I'll be compensated in the form of a Bennigan's gift card. :rolleyes: And I'm not even a big wheel at the cracker factory. |
Just changed my DL Shuttle flight tonight to Amtrak due the thunderstorms that should be rolling through DCA any moment. Looking forward to Acela First again - it's really a nice product.
