My plan is to take the train or a cab to wherever we are meeting up and maybe someone can take me into Center City afterward. Are you folks from out of town going to be in PHL on Saturday as well?

I should be able to make it down on Friday for cheesesteaks. I can also help out with rides as I'd pass CC on my way home.

If there are events planned for Saturday, I might consider grabbing a hotel down there instead of driving back and forth.

Any ATL-based FT'ers interested in drinks sometime next week? I will be in town all week.

While I don't take flights solely for lines, I'm OK with repeating lines in my personal one if it means adding new lines in the Couples one. I'm also not above engaging in creative routing to put new lines on both FM's. We want to do a PCH drive, and I can say right now that the flying will be PHL-IAH-SFO and SAN-IAH-PHL as opposed to EWR if we can help it and if we're living in the area at the time we do the trip.

I just went ahead and created one for the Significant Otter.

I don't actually take trips to add new lines, but do try to add new ones whenever possible. As a buddy is having his Batchelor Party in Nassau in a few weeks, I will get to add MIA-NAS. Also, since I'll be heading to SFO for Labor Day, and as SMF was cheaper (for flights and rental cars), I'll be adding IAH-SMF at the end of the month.

FlightMemory, to me, is more about the points than the lines. Unfortunately, I don't have enough of either. :( But I am working on it! :D

I'm off on Friday, so I can come get you with no need for public transit. Whether it's Dalessandro's or Tony Luke's or whatever gets picked, we can do dinner and I or someone more Philly-based can drop you off in Center City.

My SBH is going to kill me.

I just found out I have to work on 3 days of our upcoming vacation. The phone call started off with "cancel it" and I negotiated it down to I'll just work from there.

I suppose it's better than me being in MLE and having to work absolute bizarro hours.

How do I break the news to blondie considering I'm on the out and out with Tiffany + Co.?

In other news, my manager promised the company would "make it right" to us. The ill-defined nature of that statement has me thinking I'll be compensated in the form of a Bennigan's gift card.

And I'm not even a big wheel at the cracker factory.

Just changed my DL Shuttle flight tonight to Amtrak due the thunderstorms that should be rolling through DCA any moment. Looking forward to Acela First again - it's really a nice product.

Coming to NYC? I'll be on the DL shuttle on Thursday down to DC in both directions.

I'd offer to buy you a beer (read: 5 guys) but I'm chock-a-block full of meetings. Unless you'll be at DCA whilst I'm there.

Looks like I'll be in the heart of the Redneck Riviera this weekend. Biloxi, here I come!

Cool. The Residence Inn in Center City is $119 and the Fairfield PHL is $109.

Yes it is nice. I wish it was available in more of the US.
