We got mostly Ice here after midnight north of EWR. I think I am going to walk to the train station instead of skating on the ice with my car :p. Don't wanna miss out on going to B&H today.

Have fun at B&H. Remember, drooling when you see some of the nice stuff isn't in good manners. :)

That does sound tragic for her. :p

A few weeks ago some friends and I went to the Bicycle Club (don’t bother to go, the service and the food was awful) restaurant and bar in Englewood Cliffs. We went for some drinks and dinner and we witnessed basically the same thing. A desperate drunk woman with big NJ hair, presumably named Donna or Christine who was very friendly with every man she came across in the bar area.

She was so drunk she kept falling out of her chair, and yet her friends kept feeding her more beer. Her hair kept falling in her face so she spent most of the night pulling her hands through it trying to keep it back. This become a problem at one point where she drunk stumbled to the restroom and walked into several guys, a table, and a row of bar stools at the bar because she couldn't see where she was going due to the hair. At one point she went up to a guy singing karaoke and put her hands down the front of his pants in front of everyone , prompting one of the karaoke hosts to get on the mic and announce, "Ma'am, the gay boys don't want your hands on their **** unless you have a **** too." :D

She must have been reeealllly drunk to have not taken notice or not cared or thought she'd have some success. From the sounds of it, she would have struck out no matter what bar she was in.

I am just going for a Lowepro bag. It is going to be very difficult to not purchase anything else. I honestly think the best thing to do it leave my credit card s home and just bring enough cash to get there and back and for purchase.

You still have to walk by a lot of stuff to get upstairs to look at the bags. At least you'll miss the computer stuff. I really do need to make a trip there.

I was gonna go to B & H today but have decided against it because I woke up too late , I don't want to deal with the traffic near Giants Stadium , it is probably a good idea to take the train.

The computers are upstairs , as soon as you go up you make a right and the hard drives are there on your left, and if you don't turn right again towards the camera section/ where the bags are , you walk right into a macbook pro .

I forgot they put the computes upstairs. I didn't venture to the side the last time I was there, If I recall I couldn't get near the computer section if I tried because of the crowd.

After shooting some of our feather friends in the back yard yesterday, I am toying with getting a bigger lens for my D50.

I think I'm also in the market for another camera bag. I picked up a Think Tank Urban Disguise (I'm very pleased with the quality and layout of it- we'll see how it travels later this week) to transport my camera and laptop while traveling but since it is a shoulder bag, it might be a bit much to tote around when I get to my destination.

While you guys are walking around a city and shooting on and off, do you keep the camera out or are you constantly taking it out of your bag and putting it back in? With a small point and shoot, it was easy to drop it in my pocket, but having a DSLR is a new experience for me. Would something like this be good to use while walking around?

My superpowers are available for rent. As you may recall, I managed to get it up into the upper 50s just after Christmas. As soon as I entered French Canadia (my Kryptonite), temps plunged to the single-digits for nearly a week.

This is what I use (similar to what you are looking at). I love it. It manages to hold my Macbook, DSLR Body, Lens, Filters, and assorted cables and mini-tripods with ease. I could probably easily squeeze another pair of lenses in there, as well (if not three additional lenses). It is compact, which I like (so requires organized packing), but I like that it is light, doesn't take up a lot of space, and carries my essentials.
