Some older guy that looked like a cross between a pirate and a washed up country singer - honestly no clue who he was. He called someone an SOB and when the camera cut to the person he was speaking about, he gave him the finger.

Thanks everyone for the camera bag advice. I ordered the Tamrac Velocity 7x so I'll see how it does as a walk around bag in Brussels.

Fixed the ship number that wasn't in as the full tail in the Box FM. Can't sleep yet; might as well be somehow productive.

I know the Oscars and Emmys and I think too the Grammys have instituted the delay - I thought the Globes had it but apparently not. More lube for the slippery slope, boys and girls...tape delay at awards shows. Bah.

Im assuming that was mine??? Thanks and sorry about that. I was able to fill in all information and forgot how to look that up. I was at my parents house this weekend and their internet was down so we were leaching off the neighbors and it wasn't a strong enough signal so I gave up.

The big question is which of the two weekends around that NHL game is he in NYC? Before or After?

It was, and no problem; happy to help. Bookmark this link. Click on the aircraft type in the Active column, and then find the matching final three digits. :D

28th is a Saturday and it's an Islander home game. Devils fan though I am, watching Thomas Vanek play is worth that kind of travel. I'm not a fan of the team, but that kid is good.

He's coming in early in the week before that Saturday game and working and staying in NY, almost certainly at the Barclay. At IC hotels, he always invites his friends to his suite with the open mini-bar (did anybody say "almost all the free booze you can drink?"). On the next day after the game on the 28th, Sunday 3/1, he will be leaving for home sometime in the afternoon.

That open mini-bar thing will be what I miss most about not requalifying for Royal Ambassador again. :(

I'm sort of tired and kept reading it as January 28th which is a Wednesday. I really should get some sleep.

I know the chef concierge there - very nice guy whose wife is the personal assistant to Jonathan Tisch.

All the concierges at the Barclay, if they have not already met him, will know that he is one of IC's best customers just as he is one of FTs most prolific posters.

I would guess that he gives them in excess of 100 nights a year and most likely at a corporate rate of some sort.
