I figured that plus maybe a mattress and towels with no stains? That could be pushing it though...

I stayed at a BW in Madrid and it was decent - very clean, great location and well priced. It's amazing that the brand is so conflicted in its quality between the US and Europe.

I hope I never have the experience to let you know! But in Europe, they really do have some amazing properties. Nothing overly fancy, but nice none the less.

Agreed. ^^

Generally the BW brand is used as a booking engine for a loose amalgamation of decent independent hotels in Europe. The one we stayed in during our VCE run was cheap, clean, easy and a block from San Marco square. Hard to beat.

Many people chuckle when they meet me in person and find out I really do like to have a good time instead of smack people with rulers when they get out of line. Ask CO1E about exploring IAH in the middle of the night.....
:)

CO Insider is on but still no sign of Cigarman.

I stayed at the BW Hotel Parlament in BUD and it was very well located while also being pretty snazzy. Very quiet neighbor a short walk to many cool parts of town.

Ditto. I'm actually (usually) pleasant and helpful out there. In here is where the real me shows through...

Can't say I've had the same feeling. :D

Some of the more obscure Alaskan flying services are the same way. Until just a few years ago you could fly Convair turboprops regularly in Alaska, as well as a few other oldies.

In small towns in the US it means your room will have no more than one roach, as opposed to the possible 12 roaches in a room for a non-Platinum. You also get a can of Raid if you need it for that one roach.

The fares up there aren't cheap. Cheapest YYC-YYE fare I've seen is $550++.

Buffalo Airways also has a nice fleet of some classic aircraft.

Wow. That looks worth a trip to YZF.

I've thought about it several times... We could have a Box DO in a chartered DC-3. :D
