Cafe 2825 in Atlantic City. He's not cash-only, but he seats about 45 and one review I read said that "dishes are obviously fussed over before they are sent out". I sent him hundreds of tables over the last 4 years or so, and I wrote the recommendation to have him included in the local Zagat. I took my mother there for her birthday a few years ago, and my fiancee and I had our first date there. Mom also hosted a company Christmas there. Fantastic menu and an even better owner.

They're out there, but they're hard to find.

I have never heard of Rick's in Clifton and I live about 10 minutes from Allwood Rd. I will have to give this place a try one day.

Park Ave in Rutherford had some great restaurants. I like The Village Gourmet and Mignon Steakhouse. Not too far from Clifton.

I was last there a few years ago, but it stuck with me. If it's still that good, please let me know.
