Damn. Can't do. I'll be at work during that time. I thought I could get out early, but it isn't going to happen. Have fun in jewelers row. I have to go there on Saturday.

No big thing, sir. We'll get together sooner or later.

Any of you been to Bristol, TN? I have to go there next week to meet with a vendor. We decided to fly to TYS and drive to Bristol. (Decided not to try to fly to Bristol).

I'll be going with a client from London - who was horrified when he looked at the chamber of commerce site for Bristol. :) It ought to be an interesting week.

Computer post-post-script: so the system comes back, later than promised...fine. Turn it on, and the problems are worse than when I sent it out. My tech is  beyond compare, as according to him everything was fine when it left his bench. He has images of both my drives and he says everything is in the image. Let's find out....

Is it just me or does FT.com seem to be having issues at the moment.

sbm12 Jul 24, 2008 9:19 am

Yes, many problems on FT right now. Rather annoying as it means I'm more likely to actually get work done. :p

More work is true, but I am in a lull and want to post on many random things.

Not sexist, just very true. I once worked in a similar office. It was miserable.

One of my clients just booked another week with me in September. One more open week off my schedule… maybe there's hope for a 2008 annual bonus for me yet! And even better, I get to fly to a new airport that week. ^

Good morning, y'all.

I don't think it's sexist. I graduated from a woman's college and while I received a stellar education, I found my peers exactly like your co-workers. There was a lot of unnecessary cattiness. Now I work in a male-dominated industry and it's a totally different environment. Not necessarily better or worse, just different.

It had issues all morning (for me, at least). This is the first I have been able to log in all day.
