Backorder is a nonissue so long as the backorder is still short enough that you buy and pay in the same billing cycle. The concept is "points for free", so as long as you don't open yourself up to a situation in which you would pay interest, you're golden. Literally. :D

My client here is being blocked from a website and they want me to fix it for them. They're mentioned in a "news" article (really a hack who has some web newsletter thing that she calls a gazette) and the website is denying access to their IP block in NY and DC. Of course, the London users can access the story just fine. I'm pretty sure that I won't actually exert any effort to really solve this, but it sure is funny.
