I have checked that route religiously on ANA Tool. Bupkis for months on end in J & F (even searching single-seat availability).

And she looked me, cocked her head in obvious concern and told me that no, it wouldn't bother her.

I then proceeded to draft a statement saying she wouldn't care if I farted in bed. Which she signed and I had notarized.

... I'm not joking. And many moons later she's not laughing.

Wow.

Mine still uses a debit card. Now how are you supposed to earn miles and points using your worthless Wells Fargo debit card. She still doesnt get it. I have provided her with an HH AMEX tied to my account and said just charge it on here and we'll figure it out later. She still doesnt do it unless shes buying somthing for our dog or my parents b-day present.

She is also the wierd one that refused my F seat for her Y seat when I would get the upgrade as silver. Now Gold our last trip to Vegas we happened to get a companion upgrade and now its all down hill. I am flying her up here for a few weeks in August on miles in Y and she hasnt stopped complaining about it. NEVER RAISE THAT BAR BOYS IT WILL ALWAYS COME BACK TO BITE YOU.

You have to give them a vacation in reality-land from time to time. I sent the Significant Otter to Cleveland earlier this year, LFT-MEM-CLE, all on NW CRJ-200s and Saabs. Come to think of it, she was a tad grumpy on that trip.

She didn't understand the concept of an exit row in Y until I showed her the difference, now that's what she wants all of the time.

I'd like to take her on the SQ IAH-DME-SIN flight in J or F just to show her what it's like.

Get used to it.

US Dash-8's LGA - ROC are the ace up my sleeve.

"Where every seat is First Class"

There are much better ways to get to CLE... with no reason to be grumpy! ;)

My other half says she does not see the big deal with domestic F. She enjoys the more comfortable seat but says that the food and service do not do much for her. She says she is fine with sitting in Y. Needless to say, these comments haunt me every time a companion upgrade does not come through and I am sitting in the back (we usually take turns if both upgrades do not come through).

I fear the day that I take her on a trip in International F/J as I think she will join me in the thinking that crossing oceans in the back is something to be avoided. :D My wallet (or mileage balances) will never be the same after that.

I got us both on the Key Bank Continental Debit/MC. It is a debit card when you really need it to be... and a MC earning miles the rest of the time - so it is the best of both worlds. Granted... it is 1 mile for every $2 spent, but for the kind of stuff I use that card for - it works out great.

I also got him on the AMEX membership rewards plan... we we are earning miles in plenty of ways... including my butt in a CO seat.

Those awards are SQ's standard (double miles) awards , and they only release them to SQ Krisflyer members.
They pretty much 0 them out for partner redemption. You have to be very very very very lucky to find it using the ANA tool.

SQ standard F awards come from A , im not sure about standard C.
