Morning Box. I did kinda have lens envy - in my mind, there is not a large enough zoom lens, ever. Got home to the real home at 215...just woke up and in fact have not even gotten out of bed just yet. Glad to have seen everyone, thanks again Olton, and Reese Witherspoon is from Tennessee. |

I didn't realize that was still available. I will be down in PBI next week, so position costs would be much lower. What was the best available routing on that one?
sbm12 - should I take NK up to TPA? :p |
Good Morning Box.

Today is vehicle inspection day (which costs a lot in this county, but not as much as California), vehicle registration day (again, not as much as California for sure, but I get topay it twice for two vehicles), and hopefully Texas driver's license day.

ETA -- Republic is buying FRNT. I figured someone was going to gobble them up, and even held their stock prior to CH 11 hoping someone would see the value there. I figured it would be B6. Oh well.

This is probably a preemptive move to position themselves as a stand-alone carrier with a big-boy fleet. Something that i-air couldn't do fast enough and xjet forgot about.
Blazing another spectacular trail into the depths of airline abyss.

I know that TPA-IAD-PHL-SFO-ONT (and reverse) is a valid routing. Not sure if you can manage to get UA metal for all segments (due to the timing of UA-metal PHL-SFO flights)

I'm slowly trying to outdo ssullivan's tour of Texas airports. Just nailed down GGG last weekend. I ought to be able to score TYR, TXK and VCT in the near future. It's like an Amazing Race... to Redneckistan.

It still amazes me that these places have "airports" (in some cases, you probably can't even call them airports).
However, the terminal is slightly larger than a typical suburban post-office. Go figure. |

In PDX I'm earning a couple because we are staying at the aloft the first night (11:15pm arrival) and the Nines the rest. |

This MCO-SAN fare is tempting but the TPA-ONT fare is still a better deal at almost $100 cheaper.
The only thing that would make it more lucrative is if you can route onto PS which I have yet to do with the TPA-ONT fare.

Apparently, GGG has a 10,000+ runway, and the 747/Space-Shuttle Combo has landed there.
