I prefer to let my handler take care of such matters. It's uncouth to fly P.S. F without a handler.

Sadly no p.s. routings as 3-class cabins are blocked from *UP fares.
But, it does allow the normal 4 transfers so MCO-IAD-SFO-LAX-SAN is valid. :) |

I may need to take a look at this as I still need about 23k status miles to requalify for BD Gold in January. I wish they had more QUPs out of the NE so I could avoid the positioning costs...

I've gone on a SPG binge lately and have six stays lined up over the next two months. Thanks Box, you've made me an addict. :p
Now for my last stay I just have to decide if a club level room is worth the extra $40 for two people over 3 days or if I want to guarantee a city view. I'm leaning towards city view. |

Xyzzy was trying to convince me that was worth doing on my day trip there in April. I skipped it because the weather was nice and we wanted to be outside. Plus, I didn't really want to watch a bunch of model trains  around on tracks.

Nonsense. We just use different handling agencies. :rolleyes:v uses handlers trained at the Pandy R. Finishing School in Luxembourg, and I use handlers from Academie Rolle Yes in Bern.

This MCO-SAN fare is tempting but the TPA-ONT fare is still a better deal at almost $100 cheaper.
The only thing that would make it more lucrative is if you can route onto PS which I have yet to do with the TPA-ONT fare. |

You may want to do the TPA-ONT run as it's a bit cheaper, but there are those pesky positioning costs. But, you can always find those nice deals down to FL on occasion.

I'm still laughing about the fact that, despite getting stranded at JFK due to irrops, UA refunded me about half of the total fare, even though I had already flown TPA-IAD-JFK-SFO-ONT-SFO-JFK. |
