Of course, I read it in the same voice as... "Use of unnecessary force against the Blues Brothers has been approved." ETA - just figured it out... Anti-Trust Immunity |

ATI is Antitrust imunnity:
"In a show-cause order issued today, the Department tentatively decided to grant immunity to new alliance member Continental and to allow Air Canada, Deutsche Lufthansa Airlines, United Air Lines, and Continental Airlines to place a portion of their international air services within a new joint venture, to be called Atlantic Plus-Plus. Under the venture, the carriers would jointly arrange capacity, sales and marketing as well as share revenues. "The Department tentatively concluded that granting antitrust immunity to Continental to join the alliance and approving the joint venture would be in the public interest because it would support increased levels of service in international markets served by the carriers, give consumers more travel options and shorter travel times, and reduce fares." |

I've heard the PR1 thing at the airport, but I'm not sure about during the EUA window.

No joke. Even if you fly in company-paid F on business, all those RDM's might be a free ticket or two come vacation time, and it goes from cheapest direct to free direct.
Sorry, I didn't multi-quote but MORE IS MORE right? |

Another piece in the blog that xyzzy linked to for the CO ATI had piece about airline cash on hand. US is the last of the major nine. Apparently if every form of money stopped coming in today, US would survive for 38 days, while CO would be around 73. AS would endure the longest, at 123.
Airline Days of cash Alaska 123.5 JetBlue 105.5 Continental 72.7 Southwest 66.1 Delta 63.7 AirTran 59.7 American 53.4 United 42.8 US Airways 38.8 |
