Well, for even $20 more I can fly a B1900 and get 1000 LFMs on CO, but I've never flown NK and figure it cannot be all that bad, at least for a 30 minute flight from FLL to TPA.

It'd be fun to do a 30-minute hop on a commercial jet, but NK gives me the willies. I'm used to them not being competitive on any level, so it surprised me that you even found a fare worth considering.

Much cheaper fare and better timing (I won't have to leave the event early). I'm still not convinced, but I'm getting closer.

I've heard that NK's on time performance on intra-FL routes can be pretty terrible. I suspect that is mostly during the summer months, but it might still be worth investigating if you're on any sort of a fixed schedule.

The other Mods will make fun of you for using NK.

It looks like I may have another 744 J opportunity later this year, and that I still won't get to fly on the upper deck. I do like that the LH 346s have the Y lavs downstairs. That's pretty nifty.

+1. Normally I NEVER take naps, but by about 2 pm I was literally falling asleep at my desk so I went home and collapsed on the couch. Made it to about minute 40 of the Arsenal-Villarreal game (UEFA Champions League) before going out cold.

Still slightly congested, and the ears are plugged up, and teaching (i.e. talking) for 3-4 hours this morning KILLED the vocal cords...that said, I think I'm getting better.

Of course, I have to leave by 5:30 AM tomorrow to drive my houseguest to PHL, come back, and go to work. Ouch.
