I have just fled from the LH F Lounge. It's a joke. First lounge I have seen that is smaller than the RCC at ATL and AF Lounge at EZE. There were no seats available, except an office chair by the computer desks, and internet was tmobile pay-to-play :rolleyes:. They did have Warsteiner, but I am now happily ensconced at the E PC with a G&T ^

I managed to snap a photo of the LH lounge before leaving. Will post it when I can. The new KL Lounge looks very nice. I'll definitely try it out next time I'm on a SkyTeam international itinerary. Tried to sneak in today with the PC card and a smile...no dice :D

It looks like it's going out with 11 empties up front as well. What a shame!

The new KL lounge does look nice. I've been wanting to try it out, but haven't had any international flights recently that would get me in.

And 792 was scheduled to be a 753, not a 764. I wonder what happened. The number of seats are about the same (11 more F and 8 more Y), so it can't have been a capacity issue. And I wonder if a flight to Europe tonight is going out delayed waiting for that one to get back from Florida.

Sen/F. Whoever said they give F pax access to BA's F lounge in IAH was smoking crack.

That plane has also operated CO292 EWR-MCO and CO693 MCO-EWR today already, substituting a 753 it seems.

292 had 10 open seats in FC.
693 was all full except one seat in Y.

While I've never flown long-haul LH in F, that more or less sums up how I feel about their overall operation. They think they're way better than they are, which makes it that much worse.

I'll reserve my overall judgment until having flown with them. However, if I were a paid LH F passenger, I wouldn't be too chuffed about that lounge. It's a good thing they're building a new lounge at IAH. Not gonna woo too much in the way of oil traffic with lounge facilities like that. AF/KL/BA (even CO) are light-years ahead with their IAH lounges.

How was the check-in process at IAH?

My J experience with LH has always been good, wondering what it's like in F... Definitely want pictures of the 744 at IAH. ^ ^
