The 40D is doing well, so far. If you click on my Photos link, the newest set has pics of my room at the W Mexico City that I took with the new camera.

Okay, most of the pictures are of that white thing. What do you call it? Shower? Tub? And it sits so tall. How do you climb into it? Please explain!!!

I smell mini-DO...Vola, White House, and ACY-area golf. I gotta get in the shower, final post of the day. I will make sure to get a pic of me in front of that Bethpage first tee sign.

It's a shower/tub combo. The showerhead is one of those oversized rainfall showerheads mounted in the ceiling. You climb into it by climbing into it :p

And, you were fortunate enough to have a shower curtain.

Otters are known to be good climbers.

Should we expect some (drunk) posts from the BA F lounge at IAH?

Color me jealous. Do you have the game to match? I seriously doubt I could break 100 out there.

It's a necessary skill. Otherwise, we'd have trouble ordering drinks at the bar.

Does CO transport criminals? On Monday's LAX-EWR red eye, there was a delay in boarding the plane. When they finally let us begin boarding, we were greeted by 3 LAPD officers getting off the plane. I thought this was a bit strange but didn't think too much of it.

Before they closed the door, I heard one of the FAs ask another FA about specials and there was only mention of "that man in the back". Again, I thought nothing of this.

Finally, when we arrived at EWR, we were again greeted by 2 police officers. I am unaware of any disturbances on the plane (although, there could have been a brawl at the back of the 753 and I would have never known) so I am guessing they were there to greet someone that was put on the plane by LAPD.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?

I'm sure it happens on CO. I've been on a DL flight where they were transporting someone.

Hope you enjoy your trip! Will we get a running trip report as you go? :D

I had a chance to experience LX's F seat (2A) about a month ago (on a A343). All I can say is - WOW! :D:D:D If LH is anything like LX, ALCO will be a happy camper. The ottoman is sweet! I took some pics of F in LX, I should post 'em somewhere.

In April I flew from LIT-IAH (Sh*tauqua RJ) with a shackled prisoner (leg chains, hand cuffs - the whole bit) on board my AC. He was escorted by a couple of what appeared to be federal cops. He was wheeled up to the gate area in a wheel chair, escorted by Little Rock PD, LIT Airport PD and the feds. Prior to general passenger boarding (those of us not wearing loaner jewelery from the government), the prisoner was wheeled out to the plane and pre-boarded. He was seated in 12D with his travel buddies in 12C and 12B. There were 3 uniformed cops and at least one other plain clothed officer there to meet him.
