Is it on tonight? I didn't check.

At this point I've learned to tolerate the Impalas and the Grand Prixs. I've gotten a Saturn Aura a few times and it was nice. I actually had Avis put in a comment in my profile for no Fords since i'm repulsed by them and i've never had a good one as a rental.

This week I got a RAV4 and i'm happy with it. I've seen Accords and Civics show up on a few Hertz lots and i'm wondering if Honda has started doing some fleet sales which would rock since i'm a bit of a Honda loyalist.

Bah. Perfect case of "a friend of a friend read it on the internet, so it must be true."

Maybe it's the Taurus it shares a chassis with. But didn't they discontinue the Taurus? Eh. Whatever. I'll stick with my Fuji Heavy Industries.

Re: the last Seinfeld episode. You're better off not watching it. Stay in the bliss that was every other episode. The last one is a disappointment in my humble opinion.

+1. How it could have ended the way it did, I still don't know. If the show was about nothing, the end should never have come. That would have been the ultimate joke: fade to black, and what happens? They go on about their daily lives, nothing special.

Nexion is pricey, but gives you full GDS access, and they'll also provide you with queued ticketing. I'm going to give them a try once I've sufficiently researched the various "programming languages" necessary for effectively using a GDS (like Amadeus).

Have fun with that - take it from someone who tried to learn SABRE. Your Emotipillar will be in full swing when you try to learn multiple GDS's. I think all I still know how to do in SABRE is availability and weather. I can't comment on others, but SABRE is a beast.

I don't see it listed anywhere. I am at work, I wouldn't be able to watch it if it were on.

I heard the last episode wasn't good. But, still, I would have liked to have seen it in its entirety.

P.S. on the Fuji Heavy Industries is now partially owned by Toyota, which IMO, is a good thing.

A beast indeed. Though only tangentially related to SABRE, I got a bit of nostalgia reading this post, remembering days of my youth spent on AOL Dial-Up (back when they charged by the minute), playing endlessly with eAAsySabre. I remember drooling and dreaming at the thought of Transcons on 747s on the likes of TW.

Funny you mention that. I remember signing up on eAAsySabre using Prodigy during my youth. AA was my first FF program that I signed up for. Believe it or not, I have never traveled on AA, even though I was living in MIA/FLL in my youth. Still haven't traveled them.

Whoa. You can tell how often I hang out on legacygt.com seeing as this is news to me. But, yes, I agree, it sounds like a good thing.

Didn't Tata Motors just buy Jaguar? Now that's a funny combo. My pops owned a Jag when they were bought by Ford. I called him up that night and sang "have you driven your Ford lately". :D With this latest combo I should mail him some chutney.

I'm the son of two travel agents (amazing one could afford a Jag.), so I know a little bit about Sabre. Enough to know it is, in fact, a beast. I also know FIDELIO from my days working for Starwood. Clodgy.com

The Mazda 6 shares the platform with the Ford Fusion.

I agree about that last Seinfeld episode. It was really bad.

Considering that GM used to own part of FHI, I would rather have Toyota as a part owner.

They also bought Land Rover in the same deal. And Daimler owns 7% of Tata.

I have enjoyed the Ford Fusion the few times I rented one from Hertz. I was suprised it was a Ford, to be honest.

I was not impressed by the Fusion/Milan - I think the GM low-end cars are better.

OMG. I thought I was the only person who ever did that. I used to play with eAAsySabre on CompuServe in the early 90s all the time. Too bad I was a broke college student who couldn't afford to buy a ticket from DAL-IAH on WN without Dad's credit card.
