It's quite simple. Simply go to the following website: farecompare.com/search/yupfares.html?departure=IAH&carrier=DL&p=1

http://www.farecompare.com/search/yu...carrier=DL&p=1

You can change "departure=" to any U.S. or Canadian Airport you prefer,

Then Change "carrier=" to whichever carrier you prefer

Once you find interesting fares, you can try to get the routing rules (still can't figure out why KVS is displaying routing rules without routings now), and work out a decent MR.

For some reason, FareCompare Q-UP search doesn't always display every good Q-UP out there. If you know of a certain Q-UP that has been around in the past, but doesn't appear to turn up, you can still hunt for it by doing a KVS Fare Search.

As a last resort, if you're bored, there's always what I like to call "KVS War Dialing." Basically, just do YY Biz/First fare searches on random (or patterned) city pairs during free time. Sometimes they yield interesting results. So far, I've yet to discover a "Jumbo," but have found some decent fares by that method. You also start to learn quite a bit about regional pricing patterns.

I am posting this here rather than a new thread.

International business flights approaching transcon length, modified BF like the transcon service or welcome another cold plate?

For the record I am upgraded EWR-SJO on sunday, I am curious as to what the service is going to be?

Thank you for the information/flames/Yawns in advance.;)

(Yes, I know I should bring my own vittles, but I plan on hitting ALCO's secret Krug stash)

Sorry, no Krug for Golds :D

As for the food service, I remember getting pretty decent food service on my EWR-PUJ and EWR-STT flights last year. Full meal + ice cream sundae, IIRC. I couldn't compare it to Transcon, as I've never flown true Transcon on CO in F (only UA).

Continental Airlines won the 2008 Houston Dragon Boat race last weekend:

Do you think this deserves its own thread? :p

Especially now, while FCTSTY is suspended. Otherwise you'd have to deal with his yawning, :rolleyes:ing and thread policing.

i found fctsty's bit hillarious, why did he get suspended. were people out there taking him seriously???

whadda ya mean no krug? you mean CO's international business doesn't measure up to SQ???

transcon F has multiple courses, printed menus, and the sundaes, i assume from the sundaes i will get transcontinentalesque service.

 - it's so much nicer around here, now that you bring it up.

All are entitled to their opinion. Actually, I'm fairly sure that CO-land was not the location of his undoing. He is equally rude, abrasive, generally unpleasant and carries the same "I own the joint, do as I say" attitude in the SPG forum, and the SPG mod apparently takes pleasure in giving him FT vacations.

ETA upon further reflection: FCTSTY complains all the time about how someone else saying what he says is OK because it's not him saying it, and then has the cojones to use the phrase "shoot the messenger". Apparently he never takes into consideration that the style the messenger uses could well result in getting shot. Plus on entirely another level, I find it grating to no end that he has the audacity to piss and moan about acronyms and accuracy in the use of the language, while he obviously doesn't care to capitalize or punctuate himself. Those who live in glass houses...

Funny, I have never run in to this type of attitude here on FT...OK, maybe once....or twice...

but only when I have mentioned IFE, AVOD, in-flight service, catering, upgrades, FAs, GAs, pilots, airlines, Larry Keller, TATL standard awards, OnePass, PCs, food in PCs, DOs, RJs, overhead storage, the bulkhead, bathrooms, merges, the airline industry and cookies...but that's about it

Yep, I am now having to move a lot of my personal travel to AA as they are substantially cheaper.
