I finally learned to play craps this weekend in Vegas,
won some money , bought my mom a nice gift. Things were good until I come home last night, sit on the taxiway at EWR for an hour upon arrival , an then find my Comcast DVR was wiped out .
All my recorded are shows gone :mad::mad::mad:

Ooooh, that sucks. I think I would have serious issues if my TiVo croaked. Though, I really should consider hacking it so I can back it up, just in case... :)

I heard with the new tivo , you don't even need to hack it , you can back it up to an external drive.

I think that the faux wood look is just the plastic wrap over the carpeting, at least I hope so.

The swivel effect of the seats in F is pretty cool, letting you face forward or go herringbone to sleep. I'm not sure how the modular lumbar sections in the J seats are going to be comfort wise. It definitely is a new approach, to say the least. ;)

I also love the caption on picture two:

"The flight signals the end of two years of assembly problems that have plagued a wave of aircraft deliveries at Airbus."

Really?? I had no idea all their troubles were addressed thanks to this particular flight. Considering that they've warned EK that they aren't actually going to be able to ramp up that quickly this is particularly surprising. :p

Ahh - upon closer inspection, you are correct. Faux wood would have been really bad.

I didn't notice that one either. Pretty cool idea - although it appears that the legroom could be a bit restricted when facing forward with the wall in front of you.

The building i live in does not allow sat dishes , so i will have to stay with Comcast.

on the QF A380 , they kept the skybed in C and
I think QF tried to match the interior with the current
exterior

I think you are correct, especially given that there is blue carpeting in F and grey carpeting in Y (no reason for them to do faux wood a la DL lavs in C).

I do kind of like the F look though.
