I got  stuck in the pool intake. Can you send some paramedics 'round with the "Rescue 911" Film Crew in tow?

They filmed an episode of Rescue 911 based on a call handled out of my station. @:-)

I'll ask my Ex (a Frog, lives in Paris) for the name of the restaurant she took me to last time I was there. Phenomenal traditional French countryside cuisine, amazing wines, and surprisingly cheap (about 40-50 EUR ea.).

Find a different city in France to visit once you land. France is great but Parisians are annoying.

But they make such excellent foils for pretending (or not) to be a typical boorish Americain. The look on their faces is priceless when you're dating one of their own and being a complete idiot, as well.

I'm off to some sort of sit-down, family dinner type thing. Wish me luck.

Not I you speak French. Paris is just the New York of France. I would highly recommend the South of lFrance, however.

The fiancee has not been to Paris. We have to see the minimum necessary sights again - Eiffel, Louvre, Notre Dame, etc. I haven't been there since I was about 10 - but I have no intention of staying more than the absolute minimum.
