'Morning box. I woke up at 3am for no good reason and can't fall back asleep. This is going to be a very, very, very long day. :(

Well Good Morning Box. Woke up at 4:45am to be at work at 6am again

I want to give a special shout out to the jack a$$ who was driving the silver audi with snow still encased all over the car 4 days after the storm :td:. Did you really need to cut me off on the ice covered freeway ramp:mad::mad::confused::confused::mad:?????? 15 MPH on an ice covered ramp was too slow????... Oh and thanks for that huge chunk of ice and snow that blew off your car at 70 mph and flew into my windshield:mad::mad:. It was a little dirty anyway and needed to be cleaned...

Morning Box!

Hope you're all having a nice quiet Tuesday. Not much going on here in CLE - just cold.

Since I have pretty much exhausted all news on 1404, I'm going to refocus on Christmas stuff today. In fact, I need to make another batch of marshmallows here shortly. I found that a homemade marshmallow can make people do almost anything for me... that's how good they are. ;)

But first.... coffee. Starbucks Christmas Blend. I think a whole pot of it should do this morning.

Oh... and tonight we're going to the Great Lakes Brewery - so we'll toast a few Christmas Ale's to the Box.

I drove a silver audi a few years ago , maybe it was my old car.

I'm halfway through my drive  to Texas. I made it to Jackson, MS last night, spent the night, and now and trying to drag myself out of the hotel to get coffee, breakfast, and Best Buy to pick up two remaining Christmas gifts I need to take with me. And then it's off on the 6.5-7 hour drive ahead of me.

Perhaps not all their best customers. Nick Pandher, who works in sales for a technology company near Los Angeles, disagrees.

The romance of a road trip? I almost fell into that trap earlier this year until someone reminded me how much I hate long road trips.

Have a good remainder of your road trip.

Yup. Absolutely true, too.

There were times when I'd lose a bag going in one direction, be re-united with it at the airport going home and just recheck it. I'd get back to NY and have no bag.

US and PHL were the biggest culprits, but DL, LH, and UA all put on a good showing that year.

Why did I check my bag you ask - at the time I was working on a project that required me to carry 2 laptops. And I was told by a TSA person that you couldn't bring both laptops into the cabin. I guess the rule has since been dropped.

Depends where you go. I had a nice, aimless drive through the New Mexican Desert back in September. It was quite fun.
