I'm in Bridgewater a lot! In fact, it will be my home-away-from-home for the next few months.

Afternoon, Box. Nothing too exciting to report... the next door neighbors are having a big graduation party tomorrow, so we have been appropriately medicating the dad with Jim Beam, lest people die over there. LOL.

For any of you who need to spend time in SAT - we highly recommend the new JW Marriott Resort and Spa. Brand new, and really a nice facility.

The old office was 6,000 square feet over 2 floors and the new space is 30,000 square feet. Conference room space is on the 19th Street side and our desks are clustered near to the 18th Street windows. Using an extremely unscientific study, the time savings have been calculated at approximately 15 seconds per trip.

Can't wait to see the mob scene that Toronto will be if they win it all. They haven't had a Cup since 1967, and they are the other franchise besides Philly that I hope has a Cubs-style championship drought. And the Islanders. Yeah, can't stand them either.

But it'll be a very polite mob in Toronto, eh?

The 350K estimate I heard this morning was the city's estimate based on the crowd size that turned out for a similar rally when the White Sox won the World Series in '05. Haven't see anything from the Trib on actual numbers, yet. The space they're choosing for the rally (Michigan Ave. at the Chicago River bridge) isn't all that huge. There's a big blues festival in Grant Park (where the Obama election party was), so that was off.

Yeah, we're allowed to carry 5 days over into Q1 of the following year. My dad can bank up to 12 weeks at Boeing, I think.

I was referring to Bridgewater, IL, where the Chicago Fire soccer team plays, but I'm assuming you're referring to NJ, and I hope I'll run into you there (I'll probably have to go up for meetings in July and August).

ETA I am a ; I meant Bridgeview. I have clearly been spending too much time in Bridgewater, NJ.

One time I was observing a sanitation event on a packaging line. One of the operators was making a lot of 15 second trips back and forth from the machine to the parts cart, which was located about 15 feet away.

We moved the cart next to the machine, and the next time, the operator did those parts of the changeover 20 minutes faster. :-:

Greetings again Box. Still rotting in SFO but will rectify that soon on AA 178 (moved from AA 20) . Burned a eVIP to get into F and there are only two of us there. Expecting spectacular service. :p

You can use an eVIP when already upgraded from Y to C?

No. I'm on a J (I) ticket. I'm doing SFO-MGA, was a cheapy j ticket w/ discount code that will net around 44k RDM miles or so. Plus a day in MGA. :)

I just have to say that the new Wi-Fi/3G tethering feature in Android 2.2 rocks! I'm riding on an Amtrak train between BWI and Washington Union Station, sending this from Firefox on my laptop, with the laptop tethered to my Nexus One via Wi-Fi. Best part of all, it doesn't cost me anything extra at all on T-Mobile.

Now that my shameless phone/service provider plug is done, it did allow me to get some valuable work done quickly on this 30 minute ride home, so I don't have to worry about it when I hit my apartment half an hour from now.

Nicaragua is the one Central American country I haven't visited yet. I'd really like to go. I've been eyeing those West-Coast to MGA fares on AA for a while. Have fun down there!
