4 in a row! In the middle of a business day. Woohoo! Must be because every one is traveling.

Or they're trying to get their errands or whatever-away-from-the-screen done before the second game starts in a few minutes. :D

On the phone now with the Hilton "diamond desk" agent who has now thoroughly screwed up my Maldives stay. She had to transfer me to her supervisor because she didn't even understand how the Hilton program works.

Looks like I'm going to squeeze out one more night at a Hilton between now and the end of June for one last Q3FN (free night) so I can get another 50,000 HHonors points placed back in my account.

It'll be worth one last bit of pain.

Eagerly awaiting the "Had to sleep under a bridge during honeymoon" thread in teh HHonors forum. I'm prepared to deploy the outriggers and start trolling.

New office has Razor scooters for transport from your desk to the conference rooms.

Hyatt customer service is great.

Hyatt customer service is phenomenal. SPG Plat Concierge is generally good, but Hyatt is a whole 'nuther level of ^

I think it's still possible to sign up. You won't be able to pick RSA-MEX and URU-FRA, but I think you'll be able to pick all the others.

Sorry, I meant to send a reminder last night but was too busy trying to finish a report at 2 am

In fact, I have been to more Fire games than Hawks games.

Even in Bridgewater? I thought no one went out there.

Apparently VN hasn't discovered the concept if inventory management with respect to reward seats. I'm struggling to find flights that don't have inventory other than in their published blackout windows.

Comrade, is it not a national principle of the highest order that the proletariat should be entitled to unfettered access to state property?

To the Hilton agent's credit she was nice, she just couldn't understand the crazy rules in place with my reservation. The words "more confusing than the tax code" were mentioned more than once during the course of the call.

The video quality for ESPN3 on my connection is pretty awful. I can't complain too much, as it's a heck of a lot better than not being able to watch at home at all (I don't have cable), but HD it is not.

What I get to see of the group stage I will be watching here on this computer, but then it gets better: round of 16 in DC (hopefully including a bar or two just for fun/atmosphere), quarterfinals in CO (Denver/Fort Collins), and 3rd place match/final at home in CLE. Will miss the semis due to being on planes, and no, those aircraft will not have TV. :p

Are the new digs that big you need them? Isn't walking easier and less effort? I'll also assume you don't have carpets in the hallways? Can I find another question to ask?

Attendance is still respectable at the new stadium, despite being in the burbs. I only went to games at Soldier Field.
